Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3rd October 2024 Written Episode begins with Dadi showing the office video and scolding Armaan for his behaviour. She tells him to either focus on work or stop giving her hope. Hurt, Armaan holds his head and cries as he looks at the unopened gift box for Vidya. He admits he failed as a son and is unable to handle the firm.

Meanwhile, Abhira sees Vidya coming and quickly makes Ruhi wear the apron. Vidya notices Ruhi in the kitchen and praises her, saying she is happy Ruhi is baking carrot cake for her. She adds that she only wants to celebrate her birthday with special people, and outsiders should not be part of it. She leaves after drinking water. Abhira tells Ruhi that is why she set things up — to make Vidya smile. Ruhi objects, saying it feels wrong, but Abhira insists she wants Vidya to accept Armaan and is ready to do anything for that.

Manisha instructs Abhira to ensure the food is ready by 6 pm and reminds her that Vidya is allergic to walnuts. However, Abhira mistakenly adds walnuts to the cake batter. Later, Armaan wishes Vidya a happy birthday, but she ignores him. Upset, he tells Abhira she would not even look at him if he had wished her earlier in the day. Abhira continues with the birthday preparations and tells Armaan she hopes Vidya feeds him cake this year. She hugs him and asks him to take a leave from work the next day to help with the celebrations. Armaan, however, walks away.

The next morning, Dadi performs aarti and blesses Vidya. She asks Vidya to make a special wish. Vidya replies that she wants love. Dadi assures her she has it always, but Vidya says it feels lacking now and walks away in disappointment. Madhav admits to Dadi that he is tired of trying to console Vidya, as her anger keeps growing.

The birthday party begins, and Vidya is delighted with the arrangements. Guests dance joyfully to “Be My Love” and “Rock and Roll Soniye.” Watching from a distance, Abhira imagines a moment where she dances happily with Vidya and Armaan. Soon, Manish, Swarna, and Surekha arrive with gifts for Vidya. They ask about Armaan and Abhira, but Vidya diverts and calls everyone for the cake cutting.

Abhira urges Armaan to attend, but he refuses, saying his presence would only spoil Vidya’s happiness. She insists he should at least send the gift he bought for his mother, but he refuses again.

As everyone calls for Armaan and Abhira, Vidya shocks everyone by saying she only has one son, Rohit, and calls him forward to cut the cake with her. She lovingly feeds Rohit. Abhira tells Armaan she has made a carrot walnut cake for Vidya and asks him to feed it to her. Alarmed, Armaan rushes downstairs, shouting that Vidya is allergic to walnuts. He stops her just in time. Vidya taunts him for creating a scene, but Rohit steps in to defend his brother.

Abhira explains that she did not know about Vidya’s allergy when she prepared the cake. She apologises, but Vidya lashes out and declares she only accepts Rohit as her son and Ruhi as her daughter-in-law. Armaan breaks down in tears.

Precap: Abhira tries to stop Armaan as he storms off, but he scolds her and leaves. She accidentally drives the car backwards, causing Ruhi to fall. Everyone rushes to Ruhi. The doctor checks her and announces that Ruhi is pregnant, leaving Abhira and Armaan stunned.
