The episode begins with Abhira offering Armaan a toffee. He graciously accepts it and takes a bite. To his surprise, she presents him with a toy tortoise. He jokingly comments on it, but she explains that it is meant to bring good luck. He teases her by calling her crazy, but she shrugs it off and tells him to argue with her during their journey to win Rohit’s case. He says a silent prayer and notices her in the corner of his eye, trying to listen in on their conversation. She suddenly screams and asks why he has returned. He explained that his mother had not eaten anything since yesterday and asked if she could feed her some food. Abhira doubts if his mother would listen to her, but Armaan clarifies that since she is not a part of their family, there wouldn’t be any issue. She kindly agrees and assures him that she will feed Vidya while he focuses on the case. With that, he wishes her good luck, and she attends to Vidya’s needs.
Vidya refuses food. Abhira says the bite is for Rohit. Vidya cries and eats it. She hugs Abhira, who consoles her. Ruhi sleeps on the couch. Abhira knocks on the door. Ruhi does not respond, so Abhira pacifies Ruhi.
The woman instructs to get up and bathe, promising to bring food. Ruhi sobs as Abhira shoves her. She questions his sanity. He confirms it and demands she bathe immediately. Manisha complains about Armaan’s lateness, likely due to being with Abhira. As if on cue, Abhira enters and reacts to Manisha’s remark. Eventually, Armaan arrives home and shares that Rohit won his first case. Dadi and Sanjay express their joy, with Dadi praising Rohit’s success. Armaan suggests giving him a raise and a treat upon his return. Agreeing, Dadi adds that she will also give him a sweet once he arrives home.
I also gave toffee to Armaan. Abhira thinks I’m the same as Dadi. The box wasn’t there, and Dadi said it was. Armaan says I’ll check. Manisha says it’s not there. Manoj thinks I’ll check. Dadi wonders where it went. Armaan asks whether you took Dadi’s toffees. Abhira says no, stop doubting me. Manoj says the box isn’t there. Armaan says I’ll find it.
Dadi asks where is your mangalsutra? Rohit is alive. Did you hear him? Ruhi cries and goes. Armaan feels bad. Armaan goes to Ruhi. She says, don’t console me, go, please. Armaan does not hold her. Abhira looks on and wonders why he is getting awkward. He apologizes. Dadi said I should apologize, so Ruhi agreed.
He says there is a long distance between knowing the truth and accepting it, and one needs to abandon hope to accept it. We won’t leave home; Rohit will return; I know it. He says no. She says you gave me a guarantee, and we are standing here at this moment. They see Abhira. Ruhi asks how long it will take him to return: one week, one month, one year, or 10 years. He says no.
Abhira asks why Ruhi shouted at you. Armaan says thanks for feeding Mum well. He leaves. It’s night. Armaan and Abhira sit arguing. She thinks we should take care of Ruhi. She says she won’t sleep. He holds her hand and asks her to sleep. She says I am not getting sleep. He says I won’t let you go. She jokes and says I’m very strong. Look at my muscles. She kicks him. He says Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi.
As she contemplates biting his hand, she eventually stops and becomes exhausted from the effort. Exhausted, she settles down to sleep. In the morning, Vidya addresses Ruhi and urges her to apologize to Dadi, assuring her that their grandmother will forgive her. Ruhi agrees with a nod. Dadi smiles at Ruhi’s gesture. Meanwhile, Armaan and Abhira make their way downstairs. Dadi announces that there will be a puja for Rohit’s return. Manisha questions whether Ruhi will be allowed to participate, given her recent mistake. In response, Dadi reminds Manisha of her errors and expresses her love and concern for Ruhi’s well-being. While she would have liked for Ruhi to attend the puja as a couple with someone else, she ultimately leaves the decision up to the pandit and gives Manisha some tasks to complete instead.
In response to Vidya’s question, Dadi tells her to rest. Vidya says Rohit’s puja is approaching. Dadi says to make arrangements but relax. Abhira says to take Ruhi to the doctor. Manisha says to take Ruhi to the doctor for her checkup. Dadi says fine. Manisha thanks Abhira. She worries about Ruhi, but that doesn’t mean I’ve started liking you.
