The episode begins with Kiara requesting a return to their home. Charu then inquires if Kiara is willing to forgive Armaan. As Abhira recalls the things everyone said, Aryan advises Charu to avoid pessimism. Charu expresses that their words hold no significance as Abhira has no intention of returning. At this moment, Armaan arrives and urges them to go back home. He then insists that Abhira takes her medication, but she dismisses it, claiming she is okay. In a lighthearted tone, he teases her about her condition and reminds her to take the medicine. She complains about the bitterness of the medicine and asks for some jelly instead. However, Armaan insists that she finish the medicine and feed it herself. Playfully, she hits him, and he offers her a tissue, which makes her smile.
Grandmother is pleased that Madhav and Vidya are together now. She would like you and Kajal to care for the orphanage’s children. Sanjay agrees, mother. They depart from the room. In haste, she glances at the family photo with Abhira in it. She realizes that her picture is missing from the frame. Annoyed, she tosses the photo aside. Abhira has no place here, she thinks to herself. Who put her in this photo? She notices it’s covered in dust as she wipes it clean. That scheming woman wants to take away everything that belongs to me, including my husband and children. But this family and home will always be mine! As her anger boils over, she tears apart the photo with her bare hands, worried about Abhira’s presence in her life.
Abhira performs the aarti for Madhav and Vidya as they arrive home. Dadi observes the scene. Abhira then requests Vidya to kick the Kalash, but she declines. Abhira insists that it is necessary to welcome Ghar Laxmi and encourages Vidya to do so. Eventually, Vidya causes the Kalash to fall amidst applause from everyone present. Armaan mentions his plans to give a wedding gift.
Manisha reminds everyone to mark the date on the calendar. Armaan takes care of a task. Aryan calls out to Vidya. Meanwhile, Armaan reflects on their wedding anniversary and Akshara’s departure. Abhira invites him inside, and he exits the room.
He arrives, prompting Madhav to inquire about Abhira’s whereabouts. Armaan reveals she had gone to the temple for Akshara’s death anniversary. The memories of Akshara bring Abhira to tears, and she refers to her as her parent along with Abhinav. When the pandit inquires about Nana’s name, she responds with tears and a shake of her head.
As Manish’s car suddenly malfunctions in front of the temple, he quickly reaches for his phone and dials the number of his driver. While waiting for help, he hears the temple bell in the background. “It reminds me of when Akshara called me a year ago,” he thinks to himself with a tinge of sadness, “but I couldn’t speak to her. I wonder how she is now.” The pandit, noticing Manish’s presence, kindly invites Abhira to serve food to everyone. Without hesitation, Abhira takes on the task and begins distributing food. The pandit then curiously asks if anyone else from her family is present. Just then, Armaan appears and declares that Abhira doesn’t have to feel alone because she has him – her family.
They distribute the food, and Manish approaches the pandit to inquire about the recent puja. The pandit confirms it was a Barsi puja, and Manish offers prayers for the soul’s peace. He expresses his desire to meet Akshara and her children. Just then, Ruhi arrives. Armaan acknowledges that he knows his actions may prevent Akshara from returning, but he can’t be stopped. He also takes responsibility for separating Akshara from her family and acknowledges that she was right in court. Ruhi admits that she was upset on the day of the court proceedings.
He expresses regret for the day that mumma would have scolded me. He acknowledges your kind heart and how it leads you to curse me daily to ease your sorrow. She urges us not to dwell on the past, which hinders our ability to move forward. Ruhi sheds tears and confesses her belief that we are stuck in the past instead of moving on, leaving her love unrequited. He pleads for her to listen. She discloses her reason for coming here: Rohit and I got married today. She wanted to apologise to Rohit, though she knew her pain would never diminish. With a heavy heart, she departs in tears.
Abhira and Armaan are together when she recalls Ruhi’s words. She expresses gratitude for all he has done in their one-year contract marriage but feels it is time for her to move on. This surprises Armaan, who thinks she has forgiven him. However, Abhira reminds him that Ruhi is still a part of their lives, making it hard for her to forget the past. Armaan explains that Ruhi’s family relies on him to win their legal case and avoid becoming homeless, assuring Abhira that his involvement with Ruhi is purely out of necessity. He acknowledges feeling guilty about not confessing everything earlier, but Dadisa beats him to it. Just then, Krish arrives with a parcel containing papers that show that their marriage did not end as they thought, and they are still legally bound as husband and wife.
