The Episode starts with Jeevika and Satvik being in the car with Shlok and driver. Satvik offers his handkerchief to Jeevika, but she says she is fine. Satvik says I know your tears are not reasonless, I know the reason. Shlok says once we reach home, her tears will stop. It will be hard for her to adjust, but we are always by her side. A sudden halt of the car is announced.

So that she won’t be hurt, Satvik keeps his hand in front of her forehead. Jeevika thanks him for his help. Rajnandini asks the servant to keep the Kalash at the door. Juhi asks if your smile is real or fake. Rajnandini says she is happy that another naukrani is coming. Juhi says today is their first night here. Papa has booked the hotel for him, but he is unaware that Jeevika will leave in a few days. She asks what? Rajnandini asks her to think about the wedding night and says they must be there.

Upon arrival at their home, Satvik and Jeevika exit the car. Shlok remarks that due to her behavior, Bhabhi will handle the situation. Jeevika assures them that she has no intention of creating any trouble and mentions how she cries like Aadhya. Narayan then warmly welcomes her into the house. Aadhya expresses her excitement for Diwali. Lata fondly remembers Savitri and points out that although she is not present, her sister (referring to herself) is there. She playfully asks Jeevika to kick the kalash before entering the house. Following this ritual, Rajnandini performs their aarti.

Her feet are kept in the alta plate as Lata Mausi asks her to enter the house. Jeevika enters the house. Pradeep finds the lock jammed. Pradeep is upset. Pallavi assures him that everything will be fine. When Manohar says he wants to see the diya, he asks Pradeep to break it. Pradeep advises him to be patient. He opens the lock, and they enter. As he looks at the diya still lit, Manohar gets happy and folds his hand. Sukanya tells Pallavi that he doesn’t know what happened.

As Jeevika lights the diya in the inhouse temple and offers her prayers, Lata remarks that Savitri would have been pleased to witness this ritual. She admits that she shouldn’t have been concerned about other customs. Aadhya inquires about the previous rasam mentioned by Lata, to which she explains. Aadhya then asks Rajnandini if she knows about it, but she is unsure. Jeevika explains that a mother-in-law treats her daughter-in-law like her own daughter, combs her hair and admires her reflection in the mirror. Lata praises Jeevika’s actions and belittles Rajnandini’s lack of knowledge. She adds that at least one daughter-in-law is worthy. Rajnandini defends herself by saying that’s why she chose Jeevika as her bahu. Aadhya suggests Narayan Lala could perform this custom, but he confirms Rajnandini has taken charge of it. Lata reminds everyone that they are unfamiliar with Udkarsh’s family traditions.

As Manohar enters Jeevika’s room, his mind is filled with thoughts of her. Soon after, Sukanya arrives and offers to bring food for him. However, he declines, unable to swallow anything. Sukanya comments on how lonely they all feel without Jeevi around. Manohar expresses his belief that a daughter is no longer considered one after marriage, but reassures that he will always be there for her as her Baba. Sukanya then mentions how Satvik will love and take care of Jeevika well. These words trigger Manohar’s memories of Manas’s warning and his health takes a turn for the worse. In that moment, Pallavi enters the room. Seeking reassurance, Manohar asks if Jeevika will truly be happy where she is going. This prompts Narayan to defend his eldest son Udkarsh and question how Manohar can doubt his happiness provision for Jeevi.

Rajnandini reassures that she doesn’t want to cause any harm. Narayan expresses his faith in Udkarsh’s unwavering support for him. Shlok questions if Jeevika will be welcomed with the same warmth. Satvik suggests allowing Jeevika to partake in the ritual. Rajnandini begins combing Jeevika’s hair, with Lata reminding her to apply sindoor. Narayan warmly welcomes Jeevika into their family and hopes she will fulfill her role as Rajnandini has. However, Rajnandini’s true intentions are revealed as she intentionally hurts Jeevika and plots her eventual departure from the household. She instructs Satvik to sit with Jeevika, observing them with a smile as she feels threatened by their closeness.
