Anupama apologizes to the teacher for her tardiness and assures her that she will participate alongside Choti. She explains that she should have arrived earlier, but the teacher interjects, mentioning that Anu’s Dadi had informed her of Anupama’s delay. Now that she’s here, Anupama plans to participate with her daughter. Malti Devi makes her way to the audience while Anuj asks Ankush to show Anupama a file. However, Ankush informs him that Anupama is occupied with Choti today. Anuj acknowledges this and remarks that he will handle it himself. He adds that everything is finally falling into place.

Ankush reassures that calling Malti Devi as Maa will bring positive changes. On the other hand, Anuj acknowledges that healing takes time and the relationship is taking a gradual route. He also mentions that Choti is content with Malti Devi’s presence. Ankush points out that Anupama now has a mother-in-law and feels sorry for her situation. However, Anuj clarifies that there is no tension between them like in a typical saas bahu drama, otherwise you would have sympathised with him instead. He expresses gratitude for their understanding and praises the mother-daughter duo for creating a beautiful sketch together. Unfortunately, this seems to upset Malti Devi.

Baa mentions to Babu ji her desire to purchase a gold ornament for Kavya’s baby. However, Babu ji suggests simply buying a bowl and spoon instead. He proposes going to the park or temple together to uplift their spirits. Reflecting on their younger years when they were consumed with work and raising children, Baa points out that there used to be no arguments until Anupama left, and Samar’s departure has brought many changes. Despite wanting to meet relatives, they will eventually have to return home. Babu ji suggests going out and enjoying tea at the street corner, while Baa can amuse herself by teasing passersby.

It makes Choti happy that they have won. Anupama asks Choti to go and call Anuj. Anupama asks Malti Devi why she didn’t tell her about the competition. Malti Devi replied I had forgotten and told me it was late when I got to school. Malti Devi thinks I don’t have as many rights for my son as I do for my daughter. Anupama says everything is important to me, so don’t get in my way. She says everything is important to me, so don’t come on my way.

She says my daughter will have more rights as a life partner after she gets older. Malti Devi should respect their relationship and not try to take her place in Choti’s life. Yesterday, you sent her to a friend’s house, and today, you tried to compete with her, she says. As happiness is shared with her, she thinks we could have both been there happily, and if you had wanted to participate, I would have allowed you to join her.

Malti Devi asks why she is making a fuss over nothing. Anupama says I had made a mistake before and asks her not to interfere with her family. In Malti Devi’s opinion, you always try to play the victim card and act as though your life is difficult as if you have raised your children by yourselves. Barkha says you haven’t. Malti Devi says I’m a bad mother, but Anupama is.

Pakhi is mentioned, and she tells her she bought 19 parcels yesterday with my son’s money. She says she misused my son’s credit card, but you won’t see it. Barkha says that 10-12 parcels also came today. Malti Devi says that you would have scolded me if I had done it. She should perform a mother’s duty if she wishes to do a gaga about motherhood.

Pakhi is talking to her friend at Pakhi’s home when Anupama arrives. Her friend asks if her husband does not scold her. Pakhi says she bought everything with her Mummy’s husband’s credit card and can order for her, since she has an unlimited credit card. Malti Devi assures Barkha that Anupama won’t be underestimated and says she will inform Anuj.

Anupama approaches Pakhi, mentioning she is up for the Shopper of the Year award. She inquires about her new LED skipping rope, noting that she has never seen her skip before. Anupama then questions why she purchased an excessive amount of items and proceeds to count everything, pointing out that Pakhi already had an abundance of them at home. To this, Pakhi defends herself by stating that it is necessary for her. Anupama then asks her to understand the difference between needs and luxuries. Using an example, she mentions how Pakhi does not play badminton but owns a racket. Anupama continues by bringing up the numerous clothes in Pakhi’s closet, causing some to fall out as she opens it.

According to Anupama, it’s not a storage area but a place for dumping. She mentions that the clothes in your possession still have their price tags and suggests giving them to those in need who will appreciate them. Anupama believes throwing tantrums about not repeating outfits is incorrect, especially since celebrities do the same thing. Instead, she urges you to use your resources for something beneficial to society rather than wasting money on unnecessary items. She points out that if you want to waste money, at least earn it first—Pakhi questions why Anupama is telling her this when Buddy remains silent. Anupama pleads with Pakhi not to anger her further, but she appears upset by the situation.
