The Episode commences with Pakhi commenting that when Mummy was absent for five years, our lives were idyllic. However, since her return, things have spiraled into chaos. She urges her to sign the NOC if she truly cares for us, even a little bit. Dimpy interjects and reprimands Pakhi. Kavya then questions Anupama about whether they are her children or were swapped at the hospital. Anuj chimes in and asserts that they have always been the same since childhood, like the saying goes “a dog’s tail never changes.” He adds that they have consistently caused their mother pain and continue to do so, while Anupama is portrayed as flawless. He praises her for bearing the brunt of her struggles in silence instead of lashing out like others.
Vanraj instructs Anuj to go to his home and perform Anupama’s jaap. Anuj informs Kavya that they may be Anupama’s children but do not possess her qualities. Instead, they have all inherited Vanraj’s traits. He proceeds to list their qualities and declares that he will support Anupama. Aadhya becomes infuriated and believes that Dad can harm anyone because of his devotion to Anupama Joshi. Vanraj urges her to sign the paperwork and resolve the matter. He asks if she desires a share in the property since everyone receives a penthouse. If Aadhya’s presence prevents her from reconnecting with Anuj, she should have an alternative plan.
According to Anuj, Anupama is capable of managing without assistance. This tears her eyes and prompts Vanraj, Toshu, and Pakhi to leave. Kavya reminds Anupama not to take their words to heart, as she knows who they are. Despite this, Anupama expresses her inability to see her baa and babu ji reside in an old age home, while Aadhya becomes upset.
Titu informs Dimpy that he needs to depart for Mumbai. She then questions whether he is upset with her for requesting Ansh’s share. Titu reassures her that Ansh is now his son and that he will always strive to provide for his well-being. He also mentions that he has accumulated plenty of resources to ensure a comfortable life for both. Dimpy asserts it is a matter of Ansh’s rightful portion as Samar’s son. To this, Titu reaffirms that Ansh is now officially his son and acknowledges that Dimpy is not wrong in asking but rather disagrees with her approach. Furthermore, he reminds her that the house belongs to Baa and Babu ji and will remain theirs solely. He then departs from the conversation.
Anupama approaches Aadhya with a plate of khichdi and encourages her to eat it. Aadhya remarks that Anupama is skilled at making khichdi and adds that she tends to make everyone’s life chaotic, which has led to unhappiness among her children, adopted daughter, and ex-husbands. Aadhya believes that Pakhi was justified in her actions and that things went smoothly until Anupama returned after five years. She blames Anupama for bringing a storm into their lives and believes that misfortune has struck Shruti and themselves due to Anupama’s presence.
She accuses you of filling Pop’s ears, breaking Shru and his marriage, and manipulating Pops to dance to your tune. According to her, you only care about yourself and not Pops. She puts a tiara on your head and declares you the winner of the “homebreaker”, “happiness ruiner”, and “worst mother” award – congratulations. Anupama graciously removes the tiara and thanks her. Anupama agrees that she deserves to wear it because she always stands up for her kids, even when they misbehave or get angry.
“I come running calling my kids,” she adds, adding, “and if you get even 1% of the pain you all give me, then you can’t bear it.” She claims I call all of you my children and forgive you all. She also claims that I deserve this tiara because of my foolishness and that all moms are stupid. If mothers weren’t stupid, no family could survive even for a day.
She tells us, I don’t have to explain ourselves, as the world is aware of our love for each other. She believes that love alone is insufficient and that circumstances also play a crucial role. After the accident, your father said something that shattered my heart. I was at a loss and didn’t know what to do or how to act. If you were unhappy with me, I would be better off without you. That’s why I left. It was a mistake to leave you, and I am deeply sorry. I will never be able to forgive myself for it. She admits that she couldn’t handle what Anuj said that day, isolating herself from society and even avoiding looking at herself in the mirror.
She says you despise me because I saved Pari first and then you. She reminds her to recall the events of that day, which are shown in a flashback. She explains the accident and how she risked her life to save you without bias. She points out that you do not behave like a typical child and assures you she has not come between you and your father, only wanting to see you happy. Anupama confirms this. Aadhya urges her to consider whether she will follow her advice. Anupama agrees.
Adhya requests that she leave her life and her father. Anuj will arrive there. I will leave the house if you enter my pop’s life, and you will take a father away from a daughter and vice versa. Aadhya asks whether your mask of goodness has been removed and if you will be content to harm me and my father. “I will do something to myself if you don’t accept my sayings,” she says.
