Anupama believes that today’s youth may not fully grasp the concept of self-reliance, and she shares her knowledge with others at an appropriate age. Anuj inquires about Anupama’s tears, to which she responds nonchalantly. He then mentions seeing Aadhya looking happy, expressing his desire for her to be sociable and content and hoping she can overcome any negative experiences from her childhood. He also asks about Pari’s well-being after hearing updates from Dimpy. He notes that Aadhya was upset upon discovering this news. Anupama notices a treatment on Anuj’s face and questions him about it. He explains that it is a face pack meant to improve his complexion, adding that he hopes he and Anupama will benefit from its use together.
Vanraj and Devika try to gather information about the mysterious lady and phone number. After Vanraj spots her, he mocks her for not being at work, to which Devika responds with a jab of her own. The men of the family proudly serve the ladies their meal, impressed by the presentation. Baa questions if it was ordered from a restaurant, but Babu Ji assures her they all worked hard to prepare it. Anuj adds that even Vanraj put in a lot of effort. As everyone tastes the dish and tries to guess who cooked it, Anupama confidently declares that only Anuj could have made such delicious food. Babu ji agrees with her, while Kavya acknowledges Anupama’s accurate guess.
Kinjal mentions that Anuj has never prepared food for us. Anuj urges her to try it now. At that moment, Gulati arrives at the scene. His presence takes aback Anupama, Anuj, and Toshu. Baa discloses that she had met him at Savita’s function and adds that he runs a catering business in Ahmedabad and is involved in many charitable activities. Upon spotting Anupama, Gulati exclaims, “You’re here!” Babu ji questions if he knows his daughter, to which Gulati replies with familiarity, “Babu ji…” He praises Anupama’s popularity and acknowledges her previous successful ventures- Spice and Chutney- before pointing out their decline. Gulati reveals that he had offered her a job at his restaurant, but she declined. He emphasizes that no one can cook like her and refers to it as “insect food.”
Vanraj inquires Toshu about Gulati, to which Toshu responds by mentioning that Gulati harboured jealousy towards spice, chutney, and Mummy. Upon spotting Toshu and Anuj together, Gulati addresses them and questions Baa’s decision to entrust him with the catering order when Anupama is present. Baa explains that Anupama is a guest in their home. Gulati declares his intention to return in the evening before leaving. Anuj discretely warns Baa about Gulati’s unpleasant character and predicts he may cause harm. This leads Vanraj to argue with Anuj and insists on using Gulati’s services for catering. However, Anupama intervenes and suggests they stay out of it. Aadhya becomes irked by the situation.
Toshu jokes about Gulati and says he met him once. Toshu says Gulati owns the restaurant Kabab and Curry, destroys other restaurants’ businesses, and hires the best chefs from different restaurants. He says he is a good businessman. Kinjal says he is evil. During the taunt, Toshu taunts her mother, saying he wants Gulati to give him a manager’s position.
Baa tells Babu ji that she had gifted this saree to Anupama for her first rasoi but then took it back out of fear it would get ruined in the kitchen. She regretfully admits that she never let Anupama wear it again, and now it is destroyed. Baa confides that the mistake she made with Anupama she did not repeat with Dimpy. She expresses happiness in seeing Dimpy’s joy and adds that she immediately accepted her as a daughter while they took some time. Baa plans to give away her sarees to Kavya, Dimpy, and Kinjal. However, Babu ji reminds her to consider her decision carefully.
After thinking about what happened with spice and chutney, Anupama panics, Anuj thinks Gulati is doing something wrong and wants to speak to Anupama. Anupama prays to God. He searches for her. Aadhya approaches Anuj. Vanraj’s uncle is so mannerless to him. Anuj says, “Let the elders handle it,” and asks her not to interfere. She says she can’t stand his insult. Anuj says, “Let the elders handle it.”
Anupama tells herself she must fight with the world and asks herself to handle herself. After getting up from the floor, Aadhya pacifies herself using God’s name. Anuj informs Aadhya that she told him she would leave if she were not feeling well. Vanraj and Babu Ji are both here, so we don’t want to leave. Dimpy will feel bad if we leave. Aadhya thinks if I insist more, Anupama Joshi might tell him about her locking Pari in the storeroom. She agrees.
