Samar inquires if the information he just heard is accurate. Dimpy confirms that it is indeed true. Kinjal proceeds to share the exciting news about Dimpy’s arrival in the house. Dimpy jokingly expresses her displeasure at being bombarded with news as soon as she enters the house, referring to her future relationship with her brother-in-law or sister-in-law. Samar comments on how people will congratulate him for his wedding and becoming an elder brother. Dimpy reminds them that everything happens at the right time. Anupama questions if Kavya will never reach the right age to become a mother. Samar clarifies that they were discussing Vanraj’s situation.
Anupama wonders why Kavya cannot become a mother despite Vanraj having three grown children. She is perfectly healthy and capable of taking on the responsibility. Toshu reminds everyone of how Samary was happy when Anupama adopted Little Anu, so why does he have a problem now during Vanraj’s time? Samar explains that adoption is different, but if Vanraj becomes a father at this age, society will ridicule them. Leela agrees with Samar. Toshu adds that if Kavya doesn’t live in this house, people will eventually find out about her pregnancy and not mock them.
As he is not a first cousin becoming a father, Vanraj will only think of his wife and child. Kavya says she understands his concern, but just as it took time for Kavya to accept it, Samar, Dimpy, and Paakhi need time to accept it as well. Vanraj says he wants to care for her and his child. Anupama agrees with Kavya. Vanraj drops Kavya off at her home.
Leela says they got a shocking news and a shocking Dimpy and tells Anupama that she won’t adjust with Dimpy. Anupama says she has to adjust. Leela says Anupama is duming Dimpy on them and leaving for America to become gurumaa’s successor. When Anupama remembers gurumaa’s words, she says she will leave immediately. Leela yells she attended the wedding as a guest and is leaving like a guest. Dolly and Kinjal take care of the situation and leave.
The song Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai Yaara Main Kya Karoon… plays in the background as Anuj watches Anupama dancing. He says he loves and misses her a great deal. Maaya walks up to the screen and asks him a question. He asks her to go ahead. Maaya asks him why he and Anupama looked at each other so much during the wedding. Anuj says he already told her what Anupama means to him. Maaya shouts that she knows.
Anuj cautions her against it. Maaya acknowledges that he holds deep affection for Anupama and she is his everything. However, she questions what makes Anupama so special and why she doesn’t feel any jealousy towards her husband’s relationship with another woman. She also wonders why Anupama doesn’t confront him about this. Anuj explains that Anupama trusts him implicitly and understands his struggles. Maaya probes further, asking what will happen if Anupama never comes back and someone else enters his life. Anuj confidently responds that no one came between them even when he loved her unrequitedly. He affirms that Anupama has chosen to be with him now and if she never returns, he will continue to love her till his last breath. This only fuels Maaya’s anger.
As Kanta asks Anupama if she can live without Anuj, Anupama replies that whatever the situation, she must take up the responsibility given to her by the gurumaa and follow it like a true student. A gurumaa’s trust and her mother’s blessings always surround her. Anuj calls her. Kanta leaves. Anupama picks up the phone. Anuj asks her if she is at home. Anupama replies that she is at her mother’s house.
Anuj asks Anupama if they can meet tomorrow due to her upcoming move to America and uncertainty of future meetings. Anupama responds with a pondering sound. Anuj jokingly states that he does not understand that language. Anupama inquires about the time for their meeting, to which Anuj suggests 10 a.m. at Cafe Maazi, explaining its meaning as “past time”. Anupama playfully comments on how they can only be together in the past. Agreeing, Anuj recalls their dance at a wedding, as the song Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai continues to play in their minds. Suddenly, Anupama receives a call from Gurumaa and she wishes goodnight to Anuj before ending the call and answering Gurumaa’s call. Excited for their meeting tomorrow, Anuj eagerly looks forward to it.
Gurumaa asks Anupama if everything is okay. Gurumaa says that she is impressed that she rejected Anuj’s call and picked her up. Anupama asks how she knows. According to Gurumaa, she understands her now and informs her she will be announced as the successor at a press conference tomorrow at 10 a.m. Anupama feels pleased with Anuj sending their dance photos.
It is Gurumaa’s belief that Anupama should not break her guru’s trust since there is a saying that one can lose breath, but not trust. She should arrive at the gurukul by 9:30am tomorrow morning. Even at 10 a.m., Anupama believes she has to meet Anuj; she can’t disappoint either of them. Leela calls her next and informs her she must reach Shah’s house by 9:30 a.m. tomorrow for her son and daughter-in-law’s post-wedding rituals.

It is Dimpy’s request that Kinjal and Samar stay together because they have given her a small room. Kinjal says that if she shouts, it will exaggerate the problem. She says that becoming junior Anupama is Kinjal’s choice, just like being herself is Kinjal’s choice. Kanta advises Anupama not to fall for Shah family tricks and ruin her happiness. She informs Anuj that she cannot attend tomorrow’s meeting.
