The episode opens with Pari telling Anupama that after Visarjan, Toshu will not allow them to visit Asha Bhavan again. Mahi tearfully confides in Anupama that her parents have abandoned her and Toshu wants to throw her out, calling her a burden. Anupama consoles her, but Toshu insists he will send Mahi to an orphanage.
Anupama takes a stand, declaring she will raise Mahi as her daughter. She asks Mahi if she will stay with her and Aadhya, assuring her that Asha Bhavan will be her home. Toshu mocks her, reminding everyone there’s no guarantee the property will remain theirs, but walks away, refusing responsibility for Mahi. The residents of Asha Bhavan welcome Mahi warmly, promising to treat her as family. Aadhya is delighted to have a younger sister. Anuj joins in, pledging to raise Mahi alongside Anupama.
Later, they hold a welcome party for Mahi, declaring her the VIP of the day. Bala recalls they couldn’t throw parties when Anuj and Aadhya arrived due to illness. Aadhya gives Mahi a magic stick to decide the party activities, making her feel special. Anuj dances joyfully to Aankhiyon Se Goli Mare, lifting everyone’s spirits.
Meanwhile, Kinjal tells Baa that the Shah house has everything yet no happiness, while Asha Bhavan has little but overflows with love. She admits she no longer wishes to stay with Toshu. Titu says he doesn’t want to live with Dimpy either. Baa is alarmed.
The next morning, Babu ji suggests Mahi video call Kavya regularly so she feels connected to her mother. Anupama reveals Kavya hasn’t been answering her calls lately. They discuss financial concerns — Aadhya’s school fees, Anuj’s legal case, and Mahi’s expenses — but Anupama remains hopeful, confident Anuj will find a job soon.
At the Shah house, Dimpy stops Titu from leaving to meet his mother, refusing to move without securing her share. In Asha Bhavan, Anuj is furious after reading a news article planted by Ankush, accusing him of fraud in his own company. Anupama motivates him to stay strong, reminding him that lies can’t overshadow the truth for long. She urges him to keep faith in himself.
Back at the Shahs, tensions flare again when Toshu scolds Ansh over food, leading to a heated argument with Dimpy. Crockery is broken, and Meenu quietly picks up the pieces despite Dolly’s concern.
The episode ends with Anupama sharing breakfast with Anuj, lightening the moment with playful banter. Anuj is touched, though the shadow of the builder’s arrival — demanding the Shah house be vacated within an hour — looms in the precap.
