As Vanraj brushes Mahi’s hand away, he leaves angrily. Mahi asks Kavya why Papa doesn’t love her if he doesn’t want her here. Dimpy hugs Mahi and says it isn’t like that. We are all happy and take her from there. Kavya looks at Baa, and Anuj makes Til laddoos and thinks that the festival isn’t like it is now. He thinks he has to do this, or he won’t be able to teach his daughter about it. He makes laddoos.
Anuj shows his bandaged hand, and Shruti asks if someone didn’t tell her that the laddoos were round. Shruti assures him that she will make them round. He asks if she felt bad about being thrown out of the conversation. She also feels worried for Aadhya and me and asks if they are okay. He nods his head in agreement.
They laugh. Anupama makes laddoos. Anuj tells them that Gujjus here are very large, and they celebrate every festival with great pomp. He says you’re very understanding and reasonable. She says they celebrate Makar Sankranti and asks him to teach her how to fly a kite. He thinks Aadhya is right: I will not scratch my past; otherwise, I will hurt Aadhya and Shruti. He believes he will think about their future. Aadhya arrives and says they will go to the festival.
Kavya is about to speak with Baa when Pakhi interrupts, questioning why she brought Mahi here despite Papa’s disapproval. She reminds Kavya that Ansh and Ishani may have negative thoughts about the situation. Kavya defends herself, stating that children are loving and open-minded, capable of moving past conflicts and not holding grudges forever. She also mentions how the doctor pointed out Mahi’s loneliness. Pakhi suggests bringing toys and clothes, but Kavya counters that her daughter truly needs her father’s presence. She adds that not all women are like Pakhi, who believes material possessions can replace a parent’s love – something all children require.
If children were happy with such things, they wouldn’t be depressed. She asks her not to interfere between Mahi and her; otherwise, people would say she behaved like a stepmother. Pakhi tells Baa that Kavya has a sharp tongue. Baa says even you have the same. Vanraj says her papa is troubled by Titu and Mahi’s stay. Having such concerns, Baa asks her to leave. Now, Mahabharat happens here daily, Pakhi says.
Upon arriving home, Kinjal inquires with Toshu about Angie’s sleeping and eating habits. Toshu confirms that she has had both, and Kinjal suggests they call it a night since Angie has school the next day. However, Toshu interrupts to mention that he has something to share. Curious, Kinjal asks if he did something, to which Toshu replies that he saw their mother on the way to pick up Pari from the park. Kinjal presses for details, and Toshu relays the encounter, explaining that he chose not to converse with her. Kinjal questions why he didn’t speak with their mother, and Toshu states that he has no desire to talk with anyone. Meanwhile, Anupama distributes til laddoos while Anuj assures Aadhya that he wants to include her in their festival celebration. Together, they light a lantern and set it free into the sky.
After seeing Titu fall on the bed, he thinks of Dimpy and him. Ishani and Mahi come there. Ishani asks him to write his wish. He makes a kite with a girl and a guy on it and says it’s his wish. Her mother will scold her less, and her papa will love her. Ishani asks him to write that.
Aadhya makes a wish for Baa, Babu ji, Anuj, Choti, and others. Anupama wishes that they will always be together and happy. Shruti wishes the same for me. Anuj wishes to meet Anu and says I need closure. Aadhya says our wish will now mix with another’s wish. Shruti says whatever is written in destiny will happen. Aadhya wishes we would meet Anuj.
When Ansh catches Mahi, he calls her an outsider and warns her not to approach her father. Mahi says I’m your Bua. Ansh says you’re so small. She says yes. He argues and says he’ll break all her toys. Kavya and Dimpy arrive. Titu asks kids to see the magic when he tries flying the kite. He is about to fall, but Dimpy holds him from behind. Pakhi claps. She tells Titu that I wish Papa could see this romance. Kavya scolds Pakhi, asking Titu not to give up. Titu nods.
Seeing Anuj stressed, Aadhya suggests a winter vacation. Shruti says my friends are in New York, but I am in New York. She says AK is hosting a company event this week. Anuj says yes. Initially, Aadhya wondered if Anuj and Anupama had collided. Anupama held Anuj’s muffler and felt him. She asked if he was in America.
