The episode begins with the builder’s men storming into the Shah house. They throw out furniture and belongings while Baa and Toshu plead helplessly. A chair nearly hits Anupama, but Anuj saves her. Anupama screams when the goons toss food, insisting they not insult anna. Despite her protests, the men lock the house after throwing everything out.

The Shah family stands shattered on the road, recalling their once-luxurious life. Baa breaks down, crying that in just one hour they lost their “palace” and became homeless. Anupama consoles Baa and Bapuji, making them sit, while Anuj and Asha Bhavan residents bring water.

Anuj suggests shifting everyone to Asha Bhavan. Though Kinjal initially refuses, worried they will trouble others, Anupama firmly says children and elders deserve shelter. Toshu arrogantly refuses to go, calling it beneath him, and Pakhi suggests checking into a hotel. But when heavy rain lashes down, Dolly, Dimpy, and eventually Toshu-Pakhi also run inside for cover.

Inside, Anupama apologises to Asha Bhavan residents for bringing the Shahs without asking. Bala, Indra and Nandita reassure her, saying there’s always space when hearts are open. Anuj warns that while they can host Baa, Bapuji, Kinjal and kids, others must adjust and follow house rules.

Soon, Toshu, Pakhi and Dimpy complain about the lack of AC, attached bathrooms, and private rooms. Anupama sternly shuts them down, handing them wet cloths to cool themselves. She reminds them they once mocked these very “poor people,” yet today they are being fed and sheltered by them.

She lays down rules – no ordering others around, everyone must do their own chores, and only children are allowed to show tantrums. She warns that if they can’t follow, they are free to leave. Baa volunteers to wash utensils but Anupama lovingly tells her to first have tea and rest. Anuj lightens the mood by recalling Anupama and Bapuji’s bond, which even inspired Anu. Baa sips tea quietly, reflecting on her past harsh words.

Dimpy convinces Dolly to also drink tea, symbolising a small acceptance.
