Anupama informs Mr. Gulati that while it is significant that he enjoys the spiced tea and chutney, Toshu does not always guarantee that they will be served. She suggests speaking to him during his break time if he wishes to meet him but notes that the restaurant has been closed for quite some time and encourages him to leave. This causes Gulati to feel offended, leading him to comment on Anupama’s arrogance and warn her about the unpredictable nature of the restaurant industry. Yashdeep chimes in, stating that he, too, is part of the industry and can offer advice on how to succeed. However, Gulati interrupts him and directs his attention back to Anupama. She calmly responds by stating that only those who lack resilience fear failure, claiming she has experienced setbacks herself and her actions have no bearing on Gulati’s success.
After putting Aadhya to bed, Anuj ponders how to approach both Anu and Aadhya without causing any distress. Just as he is deep in thought, Anupama arrives with all the decoration supplies. He takes the bag from her, and she immediately asks if Aadhya has taken her medicine. Assuring her that he has administered it, Anuj replies that she is asleep due to its potent effects. Anupama comments that this will hopefully keep her calm, as she has been for the past few days. However, she still worries about something triggering Aadhya’s anger. Not wanting to dwell on the topic, Anuj assures her that he has placed Aadhya’s gifts by her bedside. Seeing the decorations, Anupama excitedly chooses some for Aadhya and mentions how surprised she will be when she wakes up.
Anuj and Anupama are decorating the hall for Aadhya’s birthday. He helps Anupama. Song plays… She thinks of hinting to Anupama that she will not attend the party and says that only Aadhya, AK, and I deserve this happiness. Anupama and Anuj finish decorating, and she says Aadhya will be pleased. She says she will see her photo and wish her a happy birthday as she has done for five years. Anuj says you can wish her directly.
She prays for Aadhya and says they will wish her well if they see her photo. Anuj records his and Anupama’s happy birthday wishes. Anupama gets teary and says, “I will go to sleep.” He records the light. Anuj feels sorry and says that Aadhya doesn’t want you to be part of her celebrations. She says she will make a fresh cake in the morning and will go to a restaurant.
Kavya is excited about her new job. She sees Vanraj’s clothes on the bed and opens the cupboard. Vanraj looks at her. He gets a call and answers it. The guy tells him about Titu. Kavya keeps the keys and leaves.
In the morning, Anupama sets a gift in Aadhya’s room. She hopes that Aadhya will see her father’s joy when she wakes up. After kissing her daughter’s cheek, she wishes her a happy 13th birthday. Unfortunately, Anupama has to leave but leaves behind a present for Aadhya. She promises to reunite with Aadhya in the evening and takes a selfie with her before leaving. Later, Anupama shows the photo to Anuj and shares that she took it with their daughter. However, Anuj struggles to tell her that Aadhya still resents them despite their efforts and does not want them around for any special events or gatherings.
