While playing with Pari, Leela tells her that her grandma is leaving for the United States, but that her great grandmother will take care of her and play with her. Paakhi has called and informed Kinjal that she is planning a farewell party for Anupama at Kapadia house. Leela asks why the party is needed there when we are planning a farewell here.
Kinjal mentions that Anuj also expressed interest in saying goodbye to Anupama. Paki informed them that they plan to hold the farewell at Shah house in the afternoon and Kapadia house in the evening. Leela suggests speaking to Anupama about canceling the party at Kapadia’s. Kinjal believes they shouldn’t burden their mother any further and should work towards keeping her happy. She volunteers to inform Samar and Toshu about the party. Leela turns to Vanraj, wondering if he shares the same thoughts. Vanraj clarifies that he is not concerned about Anuj, but rather about Maaya and Barkha’s presence at the party. He doesn’t want Maaya to spoil Anupama’s joyous occasion.
While cooking, Maaya takes out her frustrations on a ball of dough, thinking about how Paakhi had planned a farewell party for Anupama. Seeing this, Barkha asks why she is taking out her anger on the ring. Irritated, Maaya retorts by asking why Barkha is even bothering to ask when she already knows the reason. With sarcasm in her voice, Barkha says she has no idea what Maaya’s intentions are and what she hopes to achieve. Trying to justify herself, Maaya explains that everything she does is for Anuj’s sake as he is currently upset with her and she wants to make things right. However, Barkha reminds her that if she creates any more drama like in the gurukul incident, Anuj will only get more irritated and they could potentially lose him forever. In Maaya’s mind, she envisions Anuj and Anupama laughing at her and agreeing with Barkha’s words. She realizes that for Anuj’s sake, she will have to tolerate Anupama’s presence despite all the difficulties it brings.
As Anupama strolls down the street, she murmurs about Bhairavi going to sell vegetables without eating. Suddenly, a lady bumps into her causing her to slip. Fortunately, Anuj catches her before she falls completely. As their eyes meet, a familiar song begins playing in the background. Noticing Anupama’s leg injury, Anuj helps her by placing her in the back of his car and ties his kerchief around her bandaged foot. Curious as to why she always seems to be in pain, Anuj asks her. In response, Anupama shares that whenever fate brings her pain, god gives her the strength to endure it. Anuj then reveals his reason for being there: he was looking for an opportunity to see her again and luckily came across her. He hands over an important file for her upcoming travels and offers to bring any necessary documents on her behalf. Grateful, Anupama thanks him but politely declines his offer.
Her goal is to discuss party arrangements with Anuj, so she asks Ankush about him. Ankush says Anuj has gone out and she will be able to speak to him instead. Maaya is nervous. Barkha says Anuj left home hurriedly to meet Anupama. She warns her to vent out her frustration on a dough again but never create drama. Maaya hopes Anupama will leave the world.
Anuj carries Anupama in his arms as the song plays in the background. Meanwhile, in her room, Paakhi reminisces about her initial arrival in the house and feels confident that she can make things right again. She remembers how her mother was able to fix things numerous times, and believes she can do the same. Embracing Adhik’s shirt, she confesses how much she missed him. Just then, Adhik enters the room. Paakhi immediately apologizes and admits that a simple sorry may not be enough, but she truly is sorry. Adhik notices a change in her demeanor and comments on it. In response, Paakhi acknowledges that everyone has flaws and attempts to avoid facing her own problems.
She hugs him from behind and says she can do anything for his forgiveness. Adhik says nothing can be changed between them now. Paakhi says she was just trying to stop him and Barkha from making mistakes. Adhik claims that they would have been destroyed without her advice, so the damage is already done, so the distance between them is unavoidable. She thinks she knows there are differences, but also love, and she will do anything for her love like her mother would.
Anuj escorts Anupama to her room, where they share an emotional moment. After asking if he should depart, Anuj expresses his feelings towards Anupama. He clarifies that Maaya is merely Little Anu’s mother and nothing more, while Anupama is his beloved wife and the center of his existence. As he prepares to leave, she clings to his hand, confessing her deep longing for him. With a tight embrace, Anuj shares his fear of not being able to function without her in just five days. However, with reassurance from Anupama that their love will remain unchanged even in five years’ time, they continue to hold onto each other – a testament to their enduring love story as MaAn.
