In surprise, Anupama is served a feast by Shahs. Kavya says Leela cooked all of her favorite dishes. Even though Anupama always took care of everyone’s needs and always prepared their favorite foods for them, Leela never let her have her favorite food and used to have leftovers all the time; even though she never asked Anupama what her favorite food was, she will feel guilty for this for her whole life.
She feeds Anupama from her hand. Kanta gets emotional and says she always had a complaint on Leela, but today she prays for Leela’s family’s happiness always. Kanta also feeds food to Anupama. As she says she is full now, and doesn’t even have room for mouth freshener, Kinjal says there is one more surprise for her and blindfolds her before taking her to the living room. She thanks all for a royal treat of her life.
Awaiting Anupama’s visit, Anuj keeps gifts ready for her. Once he moves away, Maaya checks the gift and has a nervous breakdown imagining Anuj giving Anupama gifts and they both laughing on her. In front of a stage, Kinjal and Leela put Anupama in a royal seat and ask her to wait for a surprise. A play is hosted by Samar. Bhairivi plays an innocent child, while Paakhi plays a teenager who loves to cook. Hawa Hawaii… song plays in the background.
During her first year in college, Anupama receives a proposal from Vanraj and is married to him. Kinjal enacts as married Anupama. Leela describes how all the housework was shifted onto her and that she enjoyed swinging. Even Vanraj troubled Anupama a lot and never gave her what she deserved. Toshu was born, and then Anupama had the chance to visit the USA, but was cleverly prevented. Leela, Vanraj, Paakhi, and Toshu used to humiliate Anupama. Kavya enacts how Leela, Vanraj, Paakhi, and Toshu humiliated her.
Anupama is overcome with emotion while watching the events unfold. Vanraj issues a warning, advising her to stay away as he can smell the strong aroma of spices from her. The truth of his affair with Kavya has been revealed and she has decided to divorce him, ultimately leaving the Shah household feeling heartbroken. In a surprising turn of events, Samar pretends to be Anuj and proposes to Anupama before marrying her. Leela recounts how the Shah family never allowed her to live peacefully, even after she left their home. Kinjal also notes that Anupama had an opportunity to go back to America, but it slipped away. The play comes to an end, with Anupama gratefully thanking the Shahs for their unexpected surprise. Reflecting on past events, Leela mentions that Anupama was chosen by her mother-in-law and therefore never fully accepted as a daughter-in-law and was always treated poorly by Vanraj and his family. Despite facing many challenges at their hands, Anupama is now fulfilling her dream and flying off to America.
She apologizes Anupama for all her atrocities towards her and apologizes Kanta and Bhavesh for always disrespecting them. He asks Anupama not to stop at any cost and fulfill her dreams at all costs. Vanraj apologizes Kanta for not being a good SIL and Anupama for not being a good husband. As a result of their respect and reliving her memories, Anupama says she is grateful to them all.
