Malti Devi is taken aback when she learns that Anupama has promised to give more attention to their household. Barkha reveals that Anupama and Anuj had already left for the Shah house after work. Malti Devi reminds her that Anuj had a meeting scheduled after office hours. But Barkha clarifies that Ankush is taking care of that meeting. She points out the allure of the Shah household and compares it to a magnet drawing in Anupama. She assures Malti Devi that although this may be new for her, they have come to accept it. With a quick mention of heading to the spa, Barkha leaves the conversation. Meanwhile, Malti Devi is dismayed by Anupama’s constant focus on the Shah household and how both Anuj and Choti seem unable to function without her there.

Babu Ji asks Anupama and Anuj to help Vanraj escape the trauma. In response, he says he is troubling you. Anuj says that he has a right to them. We will get him treated by a good doctor. Babu ji informs them that Vanraj has lost both sons, Samar has died, and Toshu will be leaving soon. Anuj tells Babu ji it is wrong to expect Toshu to stay back, Anupama says we won’t cut their feathers. Baa brings Dimpy and tells her that she will do something for sure.

Upon arriving home, Choti requests Romil’s assistance in creating origami. He promises to help her once he has freshened up. However, upon Malti Devi’s arrival, she inquires about his whereabouts. Romil realizes she is not Anu’s aunt and is taken aback. Malti Devi then questions why he has not attended college for the past 3 weeks. Romil is shocked by this revelation. She mentions a letter received under Ankush’s name and warns him of potential consequences if anyone finds out. He questions why she read the letter in the first place, to which she responds by accusing him of attempting to deceive everyone and reminding him to behave properly. Feeling frustrated, Romil confronts her for trying to control the household and warns her not to cross any boundaries as Anu Aunty knows how to keep individuals on track.

According to Baa, Dimpy was enjoying pani puri with some young men. However, Dimpy clarifies that there were also girls present who happened to be her students. Despite this explanation, Baa stresses how people tend to judge regardless of one’s marital status. But Dimpy defends herself, stating she is pregnant and wants something sweet and sour. She adds that Baa could have informed her beforehand. Anupama intervenes and urges Baa to let Dimpy live on her terms. This leads to Dimpy asking Baa if she should die instead, to which Baa replies that it would be a sin. Anupama declares that her daughter-in-law will not be forced into anything against her wishes. Dimpy reasons that people will still criticise them even if she doesn’t go out. Anupama reminds everyone to prioritize what is best for Dimpy instead of worrying about society’s opinions.

According to Baa, Dimpy is our bahu. On the other hand, Anupama mentions that Dimpy used to be her bahu, but she has now become a daughter of a middle-class household and is aware of her limitations. Anuj and Babu ji support Dimpy’s decision. Baa then requests Anupama to take Dimpy away, warning that if she causes any trouble, she will forget about being pregnant with Samar’s child. In response, Dimpy declares that she will not stay at the house and goes to collect her belongings. Anupama expresses her thoughts, noting that while they were there for their parents, now it seems their children are caring for them. She also wonders if any parents have been abandoned on the streets and long for someone to talk to about it.

Anuj inquires about her thoughts. Anupama responds that expressing their abilities may allow for establishing an old age home. She mentions those who have no children or have been abandoned by them, emphasizing the need for a safe and respectful place for them to reside. She apologizes for going on too long. Anuj praises the idea and suggests naming it “Apna Ghar” while pledging to care for the less fortunate. Anupama agrees and clasps his hand in hers, assuring him that she will never abandon him. They both smile at each other.

The baby is 7 months old when Kavya says she is going to the doctor. Baa says time is running fast and tells Kavya 6 months fast. She apologizes to Kavya and says she loves the baby. Kavya asks why. Baa says she made a mistake by venting anger on the baby. She says you have taken care of Vanraj and us after Samar left. Kavya says she’s not perfect but is trying to be an excellent bahu. Baa touches her tummy, and the baby kicks. Baba smiles, and Kavya gets emotional.

In her mind, Anuj is not my son but Anupama’s husband. Romil asks Malti Devi if he can call his friends for a combined study. Malti Devi says no and tells him he cannot study with friends. Romil is supported by Anupama and Anuj, who ask him to call his friends. Anupama offers to cook pasta and burgers. Romil says you gave permission, so that’s enough, and he calls her sweet. Anuj agrees.

Anupama approaches Dimpy with concern, questioning the reason behind her tears and whether she believes she is at fault. Dimpy denies this. Anupama reassures her that Baa is open to new perspectives and has good intentions, encouraging her to communicate with understanding. Dimpy desires to cherish Samar’s memories, but Anupama does not pressure her. Instead, she embraces Dimpy and lightly combs her hair before letting it fall naturally. Anupama then gently places a bindi on Dimpy’s forehead and admires her in the mirror. She reminds Dimpy that life must be lived to the fullest, gesturing for her to smile. Paakhi becomes upset as she watches this exchange.
