The episode begins with Anupama apologizing to Ankush and Barkha for interrupting their celebration. Ankush explains that they have been partying all night after securing a significant business order. Barkha adds that they celebrate from dusk till dawn and questions why Anupama didn’t inform them before arriving. Anupama clarifies that she tried calling them, but their phones were switched off. Despite their party mood, she insists on speaking with them immediately about Anuj.
Barkha tells her to wait while they freshen up and walks away with Ankush, both visibly intoxicated. Meanwhile, Anupama encounters Mr. Mehta, an old employee of Anuj. She is surprised to see him, and he explains that, given his age, he couldn’t find another job, so he continues working under the new management. To Anupama’s shock, he reveals that Anuj transferred all his businesses, properties, investments, and shares to Ankush and Barkha’s names. He further mentions that they claimed Anuj had moved to the US to manage operations there and questions if she knows anything about it. Anupama, taken aback, inquires when Anuj supposedly left for America.
Meanwhile, Barkha, sipping lemon water, questions how Anupama found out about them and speculates if she has turned into a detective. Ankush insists they must face her eventually. As Anupama demands answers from Mehta, he notices Ankush and Barkha returning and hurriedly leaves. Ankush pretends to be concerned and asks about her well-being. Anupama directly asks about Anuj and Aadhya’s whereabouts, stating that they are the only ones who can provide answers.
Feeling cornered, Barkha confesses that Anuj met with an accident in the US, and they rushed there to bring him back. Ankush adds that it took Anuj two months to recover, during which he kept calling out for Aadhya in his sleep. Anupama thanks them for caring for Anuj, but Barkha continues, stating that Ankush later returned to search for Aadhya but found only her purse and body near a cliff.
Anupama instantly recalls that they had previously told her Aadhya was in a hostel and Anuj was fine. She realizes their statements are inconsistent and suspects deceit. Barkha claims Anuj handed over the business to them, ensuring the company continued running for the sake of employees. Ankush then states that one day, Anuj vanished from his room, and despite filing a police complaint, they couldn’t locate him.
Frustrated, Ankush demands that Anupama reveal if she has any information about Anuj. She refutes the accusation, stating that if she knew anything, she wouldn’t have come to them for answers. Barkha feigns sympathy, calling Anuj’s disappearance unfortunate, and Anupama leaves, determined to uncover the truth.
Anuj’s Emotional Breakdown
Elsewhere, Anuj steps outside with Bala, who watches over a group of children. Bala jokingly remarks that Anuj seems to enjoy children, just like he loves nurturing plants. Suddenly, Anuj sees a little girl, Ishu, dressed in dungarees, and imagines her as Aadhya. Overcome with emotions, he rushes toward her, calling out “Aadhya, my daughter!” and embraces her tightly.
Ishu gets scared and tries to free herself, but Anuj refuses to let go. Baa rushes out, alarmed by the commotion. The other children demand that Anuj release Ishu. As Ishu panics, Baa shouts her name, attracting Pakhi and Dimpy’s attention. Bala intervenes, reminding Anuj that Ishu is not Aadhya, but Anuj remains in denial. He clings to Ishu, calling her his daughter.
Toshu arrives and tries to pull Ishu away, but Anuj, lost in grief, insists she is his Aadhya. At that moment, Vanraj appears and furiously attacks Anuj, separating him from Ishu. Anuj continues calling out for Aadhya, leaving everyone stunned.
Anupama Confronts Vanraj
Just then, Anupama arrives and calls out to Anuj. Toshu scolds her for ignoring Ishu’s distress. Vanraj cruelly mocks Anuj, calling him an animal who should be kept locked up. Furious, Anupama reminds him of all the favors Anuj has done for their family, warning him against ridiculing someone’s helplessness.
Baa and Pakhi argue that they, too, were frightened by Anuj’s behavior. Bala insists that Anuj meant no harm to Ishu. Toshu, however, argues that Anuj forcefully pushed him. As the tension escalates, Baa demands that Anuj be locked up to prevent further incidents.
Vanraj threatens that if Anuj ever approaches his house again, he will break his jaw. Anupama retaliates, warning him not to interfere with Asha Bhavan. She assures them that Anuj didn’t mean harm and believes the situation must be handled delicately.
Turning to Anuj, Anupama gently explains that Ishu is not Aadhya. Overwhelmed, Anuj finally breaks down, admitting that Aadhya is gone forever. His heartbreaking confession leaves everyone in shock.
Anuj Blames Anupama for Aadhya’s Death
As Anupama refuses to accept Aadhya’s death, claiming she is still searching for her, Anuj explodes with grief. He screams that Aadhya is dead and cannot be found. He then blames Anupama for Aadhya’s demise, accusing himself of being blinded by his love for her.
Anuj recalls Aadhya’s last phone call, during which she said goodbye. Wracked with guilt, he sobs, realizing that he prioritized Anupama over his daughter. Devastated by his words, Anupama breaks down in tears.
