Anupama comforts a tearful Samar and reminds him that it’s natural to feel scared as a first-time father. She reassures him that every child brings their own destiny and she believes his baby is destined for greatness. Samar expresses his happiness at having their family to support and care for his baby, and acknowledges the wonderful role models in his child’s life such as his grandmother Anupama, grandfather Vanraj, and great-grandfather Hasmukh. He also thanks her for all the love and care she has given him throughout his life. Hearing this, Anupama becomes emotional and jokingly asks if he wants to make her cry now. But in all seriousness, Samar tells her she is like a heaven on earth for him and he will pray that he never has anyone else as his mother.
Seeing thunderstorms, Anupama says that the climate today is bad. Samar says, “Thank you for everything, I am sorry.” She asks why. He leaves her sari pallu and says he’s going. She picks up a protective thread and says she’ll tie it tightly now. Samar says she told him 1000 times he should say he’ll go and come back from the door. She walks away and Samar asks her to deal with everything.
Seeing the power out, Anupama asks him to be careful. She searches for a candle, thinking Leela changed the place of stuff while she was away. She finds one. Ladies continue to play antakshari. Kinjal asks if Anupama has found one and lit it. She stands shocked seeing Annuj appear suddenly and says he frightened her, earlier Samar and now him. All men stand sadly as she asks if everyone came.
Anupama says something must have happened since they are standing like lane kids who make mistakes and cry, and she will question them once the power returns. Kinjal asks why it is so dark. Power returns. All men cry, and they ask if they fought in the club. Kinjal says it’s a prank. Paakhi says they’re sure it’s a prank. But we won’t fall for their trick.
Anupama inquires Hasmukh about joining in on the prank and Samar’s whereabouts, urging them to end their act and calling for Samar to reveal himself. Anuj reveals that Samar will not be appearing, leaving Anupama questioning the meaning behind his words. Anuj tearfully discloses that Samar has left them forever, leaving all the women in shock. Vanraj remembers Sonu shooting at Anuj and Samar risking his life to save him, ultimately getting injured in the process. As Vanraj falls to the ground, everyone rushes to his aid. In a desperate plea, Vanraj begs for Samar to stay conscious, but he closes his eyes. Dimpy reprimands Anuj for his insensitive jokes.
Anupama chuckles and questions the thought process behind this cheap and silly idea. She wonders why Hasmukh is supporting it. It seems like they were trying to play a prank on us, make us cry, but Samar foiled their plans by arriving home before them. Anuj inquires about Samar’s whereabouts, to which Anupama responds that he had been here just 5 minutes ago and hastily left after having some kheer. He sweetly told her “I love you mummy” and “thank you mummy”, but also warned them not to dare to attempt such a terrible joke again. Toshu reveals that Samar is no longer with them. Anupama sternly warns them that if they try to pull off such a cheap prank, she will not let them get away with it.
