Kinjal asks Baa if everything is fine. Baa says yes. Anupama asks about Kavya’s daughter. Vanraj asks Kinjal to make tea. Baa asks Kinjal to make tea. Kinjal says she will make tea. Anupama insists that she does. Mummy’s masala tea is fantastic, and even Americans come to drink it, says Kinjal. Vanraj says wherever you go, our family is also ours, and Toshu has so much trouble with his mother that he lets her stay at his home.
As Anupama explains, I don’t stay here; I have my place to stay, and I come here to help Kinjal and care for Pari. Kinjal says work becomes more accessible when Mummy comes. She is going to make tea now. Kinjal says she’ll call Toshu. Vanraj says Anupama hasn’t changed. Baa asks when you will change and explains that Anupama’s boss is like Vinod Khanna.
Anupama and Kinjal are in the kitchen. Kinjal shares her emotional reaction to seeing Baa with Anupama. Anupama expresses her frustration with Kanha ji for only making things more complicated instead of solving them. Kinjal embraces her. Yashdeep updates Beeji about Vanraj’s situation. Beeji reflects on Anupama’s desire to distance herself from relationships but acknowledges that these relationships are still present in her life. Yashdeep then mentions Anupama’s past husband, who he did not get a good feeling from, and worries that her troubles will only continue to escalate from here on out.
When Toshu returns home, he sees Vanraj and Baa. Vanraj says he missed you very much. He hugs Vanraj and cries. Toshu says I’m glad I’m hearing my name again after a long time. Kinjal tells them all are together while they have tea. A couple could have been together before, but you did not want to have any relations with us. Baa says Kinjal used to send us gifts, but we don’t remember you talking to us. She asks why you were angry. Anupama glances at Kinjal.
Vanraj remarks that you have been upset with Maa over the years, but never discussed it with me. Toshu explained that his mind was not functioning correctly at that time. He mentions that he has an important event tomorrow and is putting much effort into it. Curious, Vanraj asks if he works in an event management company. Toshu clarifies that he is employed by a top 10 company based in the US and expresses gratitude towards Anuj Kapadia for giving him the opportunity. He also mentioned that Mummy’s stall would be present at the event. Amused, Vanraj notes how their triangle seems never to end himself, Anupama, and Anuj. Kinjal adds that Mummy had no idea about Anuj’s presence there.
Vanraj inquires Toshu about the necessity of working for his company and extends an offer to work at his boss’s company with a 10% increase in salary. However, Toshu declines, expressing his satisfaction with his current job. Anupama announces her intention to retire for the night, prompting Baa to question her early bedtime. Anupama explained that she had an event tomorrow and suggested they have dinner. Baa expresses concern that she won’t be able to sleep, to which Kinjal assures her that she will adjust to Indian time and jests about staying up like an owl. Anupama apologizes for not keeping Baa company, citing her workload as a reason. Vanraj comments on Anupama’s professionalism, and she confirms it without hesitation.
Baa says we will come to see the event in America. Vanraj asks about Choti. Toshu says she stays with Anuj. Toshu says he’s engaged. Baa asks if Anupama’s love is gone from his head. Vanraj laughs.
Kavya serves tea to Babu ji and inquires if he misses Baa. Babu ji replies that he focuses on Anupama and wonders how she will manage there alone. Kavya praises Anupama for thriving independently in New York. Babu Ji predicts that Vanraj might mock or become envious of her and ponders what will happen when he gives her the NOC form. Anupama recalls Vanraj’s hurtful words and tears up, expressing frustration over the added complication. She seeks solace in listening to a devotional song before falling asleep, reminding herself not to let the past control her present and that no one can hold her back.
The following day, Baa and Vanraj express their inability to sleep the previous night. Toshu then requests Kinjal to accompany them to the event, to which she agrees by nodding. Baa mentions that she will finally be able to rest once they leave. However, Toshu points out that this would mean she could not attend the event. Just then, Anupama arrives and announces that she will be going instead. She asks Kinjal to prepare a sandwich for Vanraj and reminds Baa that people change over time. As she prepares to leave, Anupama remembers checking her purse and realizes some money is missing. Toshu begins to ask her about it…
She says today is the event so that she will be before me. After the event, I have to visit Aadhya and Shruti, but if I forget Anupama, I will be far from her. She tells her boss that money is missing and that the boss has given her money to buy stuff. Toshu says I didn’t take it. Toshu says I didn’t ask you and asks him to take out the money. Toshu says I did not take it. If you have taken money to give to goons, then give it.
Vanraj says there are goons. Baa asks if there are goons here, too. Vanraj asks Toshu. Toshu says he will handle it. Vanraj scolds Anupama and warns her not to refer to his son as a thief. Babu ji worries that he couldn’t speak to them but says he doesn’t know what happened. Anupama will handle everything, says Kavya.
Anupama says that money is missing from her purse. Baa asks if the money must have fallen and if you don’t feel ashamed to accuse your son. Baa and Vanraj are shocked when Anupama tells them that her son has taken money from goons, and they came here with a gun.
