The episode opens with Anupama telling everyone that she found old flowers in the almirah, washed them, and decided to reuse them for Bappa’s welcome. Sagar observes how everyone is busy with the preparations. Anupama beams with joy, saying their beloved Bappa is arriving.
Mahi tells Ishu that Bappa will bring them happiness. Anupama praises the kids for speaking positively and helping out. She asks if Baa gives them saffron milk. Ishu happily confirms they like it. When they mention Kinjal, fearing Toshu’s scolding, Kinjal declares she will stand up for them. Anupama inquires gently, and Kinjal shares her frustration with Toshu’s behavior. Anupama advises her that every woman should know when to stay silent and when to raise her voice. Kinjal says it’s time she speaks up.
Just then, Baa arrives with dry fruits for the prasad. Anupama welcomes her warmly and asks her to take care of Bappa. Babuji supports Baa’s decision. Anuj smiles as he sees Anupama happily bonding with the kids and Baa. Anupama removes the evil eye from the children and Anuj.
Pakhi vents about Toshu and says no one listens to her. Aadhya walks in and asks her for the Toran. She invites Pakhi to join them, but Pakhi rudely refuses and insults everyone, calling them beggars. Aadhya retorts that she used to be like Pakhi but has realized Anupama actually brings joy into people’s lives.
Meenu enters the scene and notices the tension. Aadhya leaves, and Meenu questions Pakhi. Pakhi claims she saw how close Meenu and Sagar are and comments on status not being defined by clothes. Meenu walks away. Pakhi decides to inform Toshu about Meenu and Sagar’s relationship.
Anuj leads the Ganpati procession with energy, playing the dhol. Baa and Babuji warn Toshu not to spoil the festivities or he will get a worse beating than the drum. Anupama and Anuj dance together to welcome Ganpati Bappa, followed by the family. During the aarti, Dolly arrives unexpectedly.
Anupama hugs Dolly and says she is happy to see her. However, Dolly confronts Anupama, accusing her of trying to ruin Meenu’s life to take revenge on Vanraj. She says Meenu treated Anupama like a mother, but Anupama failed her. Shocked, Anupama asks what she means. Dolly says she will make decisions about her daughter and warns Anupama to stay away.
Meenu tries to stop her mother, but Dolly takes her away. Babuji asks Anupama if she is alright. Teary-eyed, Anupama wonders why Dolly said such things. Baa suggests leaving, but Babuji insists they take the prasad, as the puja would otherwise be incomplete. He guesses that Toshu, Pakhi, or Vanraj must have poisoned Dolly’s mind.
Aadhya is disappointed as her special plan for Anuj and Anupama seems to have been ruined. Meenu tries to explain to her mother that she has heard a twisted version of events. She runs back, determined to complete the puja.
Sagar shares with Bala how unfair it was that Anupama got scolded without any fault. Bala advises him to wait for the right time to clarify things. Anuj consoles Anupama and supports her. Anupama begins distributing gifts and chocolates to the children.
Aadhya refuses a gift and says she wants something else — for Anuj and Anupama to reunite. She confesses that her earlier actions drove them apart, but now she realizes her mistake. She tells them they should marry each other again, not for her, but for themselves.
She reminds them of their love, their strength, and the happiness they shared. She says they were amazing parents, but the couple in them got lost. She adds that no one can take Anupama’s place in Anuj’s life, not even Shruti. Babuji says parents live for their children, to which Aadhya responds that now she wants to see them as a couple too.
She hands over the Radha Krishna locket to both of them and tells them to mark this moment as the beginning of a new journey. She asks them to fix their marriage date by exchanging the lockets.
The family encourages Anupama to agree. Anuj looks at her and emotionally says their daughter is right. He tells her that if she gives him another chance, their bond will never break again. He swears on Aadhya that he will never let her down and will remain with her until the end.
Anuj says their daughter, God, and family all want them to reunite — then what is she waiting for?
