The episode opens with Vandana yearning for her family’s presence. Vijay catches sight of Hemant and Anagha taking care of tasks around the house. He envisions Vandana bringing him tea and breaks into a smile. Turning his gaze to Anagha, she reveals that Vandana had informed her about his tea preference. Expressing joy, he remarks that she hasn’t forgotten about his tea time and blesses her. As Vandana notices the washed-off alta on her hand, she inquires about Vaibhav’s whereabouts. Mrunal reminds Vaibhav not to break his promise to her, but he assures her that he did not enter the house with Vandana. She insists that he goes and spends their wedding night together, but he reassures her that he is there with her currently. Later, as Vandana enters Vaibhav’s room, she realizes that it is now her home and decides to decorate it herself to surprise him. Meanwhile, Vaibhav drinks water as Mrunal switches on his phone, revealing a call from Vandana. Despite Mrunal’s recommendation to answer the call, Vaibhav disconnects it instead but eventually gives in and takes the call.
She inquires about his whereabouts. He responds with the word “work,” stating that he is occupied. She then requests that he come home soon, explaining that it’s her first day there. He apologizes and explains that he has a lot of work to finish, so he won’t be able to come home at the moment. She understands and asks him to try and finish his work quickly so he can join her soon. He ends the call. Mrunal tells him he can leave, as she did not stop him from doing so. Kunal appears distracted, while Bobby observes the situation. Bobby suggests that Kunal’s mind seems elsewhere and accuses him of being worried about Vandana. Kunal defends himself, stating that he did his best to assist Vandana but she refused to listen; ultimately, it was her decision. He then asks for a file from Bobby, who replies that Vandana has it and offers to call her. Kunal advises against disturbing her, knowing she must be busy with preparations.
Savita requests Vandana to prepare a wholesome meal of hot rotis and veg curries. She gives her instructions for different dishes. Vandana assures her, saying she will take care of everything. Savita appreciates her cooking skills and also suggests making some sheera. Vandana agrees, mentioning it as a token of good luck for her first day in the kitchen. As Savita leaves, Vandana assumes she must have gone to attend the guests. Bobby considers calling her, but Kunal suggests she might be occupied with work. Just then, they receive a call from Vandana informing about an important file. Kunal expresses his gratitude towards her and mentions how it’s her first day in the kitchen. Vandana adds that Vaibhav will feel better after eating the sheera she made for him. Meanwhile, Mrunal orders a pizza while Vandana prepares the food at home.
Savita and Anjali arrive, taking the food with them. Savita then asks Vandana to remain indoors while Vinay mentions that she was the one who prepared the meal. Worried about what others might think, Savita suggests Vandana stay put and not do any work on her first day as a daughter-in-law. However, Vandana greets the guests when they arrive. Trying to make a good impression, Savita puts on an act in front of them while Vandana watches on. The guests inquire about Vaibhav’s whereabouts and Savita explains that he is busy fulfilling his responsibilities. One lady asks to meet her bahu, mentioning how she heard she sings beautifully. Agreeing with the statement, Savita calls for Anjali to fetch Vandana so she can showcase her talent. After a round of applause from everyone for her performance, the lady compliments Vandana’s singing abilities. Following this praise, Savita asks Vandana to fetch some sweet dish called “sheera” for all the guests to enjoy. With a smile on her face, Vandana happily goes to get it done.
