The episode opens with Sonia engaging in a heated argument with Vandana. She accuses Vandana of threatening Tara’s well-being, and Pammi takes advantage of the situation by badmouthing Vandana to Kunal. Sonia emphasizes that Tara needs both medication and her biological mother, not Vandana, and requests her to leave. Despite Vandana’s tears, Sonia stands firm in her decision and apologizes for scolding her, which is necessary for the family’s happiness. That said, Vandana goes to the kitchen and declares her intention to ward off any evil eye on Tara. Sonia expresses her hope for Tara’s recovery, which Pammi echoes. However, she reminds Sonia of forgetting an important paper that needed to be given to Vandana and credits herself for stepping in before Kunal could have taken action against Sonia.
According to Sonia, Vandana could have consulted with her instead of Tara. However, Pammi raises the question of whether Sonia wants Kunal back. Sonia confirms, admitting she does not wish Vandana or Kunal’s support. She is angry and regrets leaving her previous family for Inder, as it ultimately resulted in losing everything, including Kunal. Pammi praises her for coming to her senses. Sonia agrees, acknowledging her foolishness and determination to correct her mistake by reclaiming everything she lost. She firmly believes that Kunal and Vandana do not share genuine love, but she still loves him. Hence, she plans to remove Vandana from their lives. Much to their surprise, they spot Vandana standing behind them.
Counting her mistakes, Vandana scolds Sonia. She says I told you before, I have no personal enmity with you. Tara left me and went to you, and I lost my happiness. Tara was with you for seven years and longed for your love, but you did not give her the time she deserved. Sonia says yes, I want to give Tara life now. She is my daughter. Vandana says I want Tara to love me. I am not interested in sharing love; I like Tara and Kunal. Vandana says Kunal and I have no contact.
Sonia says I know, it will happen, you don’t make a mistake, I don’t want Kunal to love you. I have seen Kunal’s love, and I know that he can go to any length to love someone, so I want his love and rights back. Vandana says he loved you, you didn’t value him, nothing was taken from you, you lost it yourself. Sonia says yes, I will get it back, and he married you to make you Tara’s mother.
Vandana says I am not a bad mum; I will keep my responsibility. I am imperfect, but I will ensure no one remains mistaken. You have to go, Sonia says. Vandana says I trust myself. You thought of yourself seven years ago and still do the same today. If Inder and you had been on good terms, you wouldn’t have returned, but you felt alone, so you want them back, not out of love, but out of adamancy. I want my husband and daughter back, Soni says yes.
The day I see love in your eyes for Tara, Vandana says, I’ll leave this house myself. In the meantime, I won’t leave this house. Sonia says we will see. The servant tells Vandana there is an urgent call. Vandana answers it. She is shocked. She runs. Pammi asks why. Sonia says I don’t care and I’ll get Vandana out of Kunal’s and Tara’s lives. He says Kunal is doing you a favour by keeping you here, so stay sick for a few days, or he will cut you off.
Sonia acknowledges that the man in question loves his daughter deeply and will not tolerate any harm coming her way. Overcome with emotion, she expresses her desire not to let this opportunity slip away. Amid the chaos, Mrs Anagha calms Mrunal down while Vandana arrives on the scene, visibly concerned. She questions Mrunal’s intentions of ending her life and suggests that Vaibhav is not a suitable partner. However, Mrunal stands firm in her decision as she believes it’s better to die than cause harm to two lives. An unexpected revelation from Mrunal leaves Vijay and everyone else shocked.
Mrunal says he was doing the same. Why did you save me? Vandana and Anagha hug Mrunal. Vijay says let her die. Vandana cries. Kunal arrives at Tara and asks where Sonia is. Sonia says she went home, she didn’t return, and I am here with Tara. Kunal thinks she should be here with Tara; how can she leave? Tara was safe with me, so I didn’t trust Vandana.
Vandana advises against placing your trust in Vaibhav, but I will speak with him if you decide to marry him. Please promise me that you won’t consider hurting yourself as a solution. You have a life inside of you that needs to be taken care of. Anagha is concerned about what we will do if he rejects us. We are just middle-class people, after all. Vijay suggests that Mrunal leave the house while Vandana worries about where she will go and how her baby will not be punished for her actions. Vijay reminds her that she should have thought about it beforehand. However, Vandana requests one day to speak with Vaibhav as she is also dealing with Tara’s illness and has to visit her. Mrunal pleads for her to talk to him as it would ruin her if he agreed. Vandana returns home, where Kunal and everyone else give her questioning looks. She asks about Tara’s well-being before being scolded by Kunal.
She says I went to see Mrunal. He asks if she is more critical than Tara. Vandana says no. He asks why you called clowns when this information was written in the file, how you missed that imp information, and what did you do? If you really think this way, I can’t forget such a big thing, can I become so careless about her.
