Sonia chastises Vandana for not taking care of Tara, telling her that she is not Tara’s mother. Vandana cries. Kunal says Vandana is Tara’s mum, not a nanny. I know you feel bad, and even Vandana is hurt. Tara says don’t scold Vandana, it was my mistake. Sonia says she is my daughter, she took your mistake on your head, you couldn’t take care of her. Kunal says you asked Vandana to check the bag immediately because any accident can happen at any time.
I have been caring for Tara for 7 years, and I have never let anything happen to her, Vandana is not Tara’s mother or can ever become her mother. He says watch your words. Sonia says I am her mother. He then leads Tara away while Pammi makes a sly remark directed at Sonia. Meanwhile, Mrunal is on the phone with Vaibhav, desperately pleading for him not to back out of their marriage plans and vows to see him soon before hanging up in tears. She reaffirms to herself that nothing can stop this marriage now.
Anagha arrives and inquires about the situation. She asks if there was a disagreement between Mrunal and Vaibhav, or if he refused to marry her. Mrunal reassures her that he loves her and there is no reason for him to refuse. Anagha leaves but wonders if something happened between them. Pammi points out that Tara’s birthday was forgotten, while Vandana remembers it. Sonia expresses her love for Tara, unlike Vandana, who doesn’t show much care for her. Pammi suggests that Kunal will believe Sonia’s words over Vandana’s. However, Sonia argues that she has raised Tara with love and, given the opportunity, can prove to be a good wife to Kunal. Meanwhile, Kunal and Vandana converse and later work together to build a tent for Tara’s birthday celebration. He thanks Vandana for trusting him, and she responds by saying she also has reasons to thank him for believing in her abilities.
I remember my mistake of keeping you away, and Tara has been saved because of you. Vandana says she also made a mistake today and will try not to repeat it. He says I’m sure we’ll surprise her. They cut the cake while Kunal comments on Sonia’s unchanged state. Vandana brushes it off, believing that their mother has something special in store for Tara. Filled with joy and love, Tara embraces them both.
In the morning, Kunal helps Tara with her hair while Vandana watches with a smile. Tara apologizes for the bad news about Kunal’s result but encourages him not to be upset and offers to share chocolates from her bag. She suggests they all work together to make a unique hairstyle for her birthday. Sonia arrives and wishes her a happy birthday, asking if she can help with Tara’s hair. However, Tara informs her that Vandana will take charge of the hairstyle today. Sonia explains that she overslept due to medication and asks for forgiveness. Tara suggests cutting the cake to make up for it, and they all enjoy a slice together.
When Sonia asks Kunal to drop her to the hospital, he says yes. Mrunal calls Vandana and cries. She says everything ended. Vandana asks where she is and why she is crying. Mrunal tells her what happened. Vandana is shocked.
