The Episode opens with Tara expressing gratitude towards Vandana for teaching her to sing and dance to cope with fear and sadness. The two embrace and Vandana inquires how Tara managed to get to her. Tara explains that she had informed Vedika of her intentions. Vandana then questions why Tara had disobeyed Vedika’s instructions not to leave through the main gate. Feeling remorseful, Tara apologizes, and Vandana reminds her of the potential danger outside, recalling a previous incident.
I will not do this again, Tara says. Vandana says come, I’ll drop you off at your house. Mrunal says what your plan is, Vaibhav. He says revenge, Vandana insulted me and my family, I’ll make her cry. He says to get a divorce and end the problem. He replies, “No, I will make her settle scores. Just watch it. I also want divorce from her, and now she wants divorce too so that I won’t give it easily.” She asks what this means.
You’ll understand soon. Just stay in this house until you receive your share. Kunal, on the other hand, is unsure about his future. He’s become Vandana’s rescuer. I’ll check up on both of them. Unfortunately, their hardships are about to begin. Would you like to go out with me on a date? She asks in surprise and confusion.
Meanwhile, Kunal is busy at the court. His presence makes Vedika and Pammi emotional about his difficult life. Sonia arrives with Inder, which adds to their distress. However, Vedika advises them not to argue and instead remain composed. Kunal assures them he won’t fight with Sonia and her family anymore and decides to end their relationship for good. Inder tells Sonia to ignore Kunal’s actions and words.
Sonia reminds me, “I just want my Tara. Remember your promise to keep her with us.” Inder assures her, “Yes, I always keep my promises. It’s time for Kunal to take care of her while we also make the most of our time.” Mockingly, he adds that Sonia’s name will finally be freed from Kunal’s, and theirs will be linked. Amused by Kunal’s reaction, he chuckles. Kunal reminds them that they are running late for the hearing. As Vandana arrives home with a smile on her face, she notices Mrunal and Vaibhav indulging in some PDA. This sight saddens her as she longs for a happy relationship. Vijay witnesses this scene with anger before they all leave.
Vijay and Vandana agree that it would be best for the divorce to be finalized soon. During the hearing, Kunal becomes emotional while Inder observes. The song “Ye duniya agar mil” plays in the background. The judge confirms with Kunal that his daughter is currently living with him. Sonia clarifies that this arrangement is temporary as she has been the primary caregiver for their daughter for the past seven years and loves her deeply. Kunal questions why she entrusted their daughter’s custody to him, leading to an argument between them. The judge intervenes, reminding them to finalize the divorce before addressing custody matters later. Realizing their mistake, Kunal and Sonia apologize while Vandana signs the divorce papers.
After signing the papers, Kunal and Sonia exit the court. Sonia realizes she needs to talk with Kunal, but he immediately shuts her. “I’m not interested in talking,” he says. Sonia replies that they both want a divorce, and Tara is the only thing still connecting them. With her custody hearing approaching, they will need to negotiate joint custody. However, Kunal refuses to acknowledge any responsibility towards Tara. “She’s not my daughter,” he insists. But Sonia reminds him that legally, she is his daughter, too, and he must take care of her as well. Kunal vehemently denies this and challenges her to prove it in court by getting a paternity test done for Tara. As Vandana walks down the street, lost in thought, memories of Tara flood her mind.
