The Episode begins with Aradhana apologizing. Kimaya comments that they argue like children. Reyansh explains that he ordered a cake for Kimaya and as a customer, his needs should be met. He adds that Kimaya loves rainbows. Malini remarks that they are just kids and if Beena were to find out, she would be furious. Aradhana agrees to remake the cake. Reyansh apologizes and promises to talk to Beena about it. Meanwhile, Viren and Akash enjoy their drinks. Jai points out how Viren is taking advantage of Malini’s absence at home. Viren defends himself saying that Malini doesn’t understand him while Akash complains about his strict wife. Viren suggests they have a roka ceremony, but Jai hesitates and decides to consult with Malini first.
Akash mentions that Jai will be in charge of planning and proposing. Jai then states not to embarrass him as he wants to ask and inform the girl, who happens to have someone else interested in her. Viren wonders who this other person is. Aradhana ends up making the cake again, while Reyansh jokingly tells her not to ruin it. He then receives a call from Jai, who asks if they should settle in that city. Reyansh agrees, stating he also likes that city. Jai further adds that he plans on getting a big bungalow across from Reyansh’s house so their kids can play soccer together. Inquiring about the girl, Reyansh asks if Jai has asked for her hand yet. Confirming the proposal, Kriti informs them that their dad is calling for Jai. Giving a sign to wait two minutes, Jai explains how the girl doesn’t want to see him alone for some reason. Amidst Kimaya and Aradhana’s presence, Reyansh turns to ask Aradhana whether or not she thinks Jai should bring up marriage with the girl.
Aradhana confirms that he is a nice guy, very sweet. It’s clear that she likes him and insists that no girl would refuse him. Reyansh then compliments Jai, saying he’s popular among girls. Jai is delighted and ends the call. Reyansh adds on to make it even better. Malini witnesses this cute conversation and offers to bake a cake for them. Aradhana interrupts and informs that Reyansh has ruined the cake. However, Malini assures them to remain quiet and takes on the challenge of making another one herself. Meanwhile, Reyansh hopes to see Jai happy with his mother as he brings coffee for Kimaya, advising her not to be afraid of anything and asking her to smile instead.
Kimaya believes that every smile comes at a cost, and if I manage to make her smile, it may require a significant price. He assures me that he won’t let me lose and encourages me to just smile. Kimaya admits that life has been difficult for her, but he counters by saying that life is intimidated by him and urges us not to talk about defeat, but rather enjoy a cup of coffee together. As Aradhana goes through some reports, she thinks Malini might see them as well. Meanwhile, Kriti plans her next move and decides to involve Viren in the matter. She asks him to talk to Vikram’s family about Kimaya’s marriage and even invites them over for dinner. Viren playfully jokes around before calling Vivek to discuss the children’s future. Vivek expresses his gratitude towards Viren for making his son feel at home with them.
Viren compliments my daughter’s recent progress. Vivek also praises your kindness for accepting Aradhana, and he feels fortunate that our son has joined your family. Viren adds that ever since Aradhana became a part of this household, she has been like a daughter to us and Malini has grown fond of her. As Malini presents the cake, Reyansh expresses his desire to taste it, but Malini informs him that it is meant for Jai. Kimaya joins in the conversation, expressing her concern for Jai and hoping he gets a stomach ache from the cake. He then takes Kimaya away with him. Malini then turns to Aradhana and asks if anything is happening between her and Vikram.
Aradhana mentions that he is not only her jiju, but also her best friend and ultimately, her boss. Malini apologizes for the question she is about to ask. Aradhana herself worries for Kimaya too. As they decide to pack the cake for Jai, Viren inquires about when they will finalize the talks. Vivek expresses his happiness that the children are in agreement. Kriti answers a call and assures the person that Aradhana is like a sister to her and there’s no need to worry. After this conversation, Vivek shares his joy and promises to speak with Vikram before coming back. Kriti predicts that eventually, the baraats will come to this house. Viren adds on that Vikram must have shared everything with Vivek including information about Aradhana. She quickly responds with an “oh” and assumes that everyone will get acquainted with Aradhana in due time.
In the morning, Aradhana sends a message to Kimaya. Vikram brings up their ongoing story and Reyansh’s involvement. Curious, she asks for an explanation. Vikram explains that despite their constant bickering, they both have each other’s backs and work well together. However, Aradhana refutes this and states that her actions are not for anyone else but herself. Vikram then informs her that she has been nominated for best reporter. He also defends Reyansh’s abilities. But Aradhana disagrees, stating her disdain for him and adds that winning an award is not her motivation to work. Just then, Jai enters and announces the launch party planned for the upcoming week by himself and Reyansh. He congratulates Aradhana and presents her with a bouquet, mentioning that he had suggested her name because of her outstanding work.
“Hey, you’re looking good. Are you alright?” “Yes, I’m fine. Did someone speak to you?” “Everyone talks to me.” “Did anyone mention us?” “Yes.” “What did they say?” “I have a surprise for you.” Just then, Reyansh joins them. Aradhana presents the cake to him and Jai asks if they both made it. “No, I made this for him. It’s a perfect cake for a perfect person.” Reyansh wants some too and Jai happily shares. They all smile at each other, thinking how sensitive Jai is and how strange Reyansh can be at times. But in that moment, everything feels just right.
She taunts him, and Reyansh asks her to smile. They start arguing. He says Jai said you said yes. She says I made a mistake, I said yes, so yes. He says you can refuse. She says my yes is a yes, go now. He says I’m sitting away. She says I wouldn’t have forgiven you if Jai hadn’t said. He says he loves me very much. She says everyone makes mistakes, and he goes. He smiles. Kriti thinks I’ve kept the gift for Jai by Aradhana’s name.
