The episode begins with Viren viewing a video that sparks his anger, before he receives a phone call. He explains that he requires two separate stages for his daughters’ engagement, to which Malini inquires about his stress and potential blackmailing. Viren apologizes for his past and assures her of their strong present relationship. Malini trusts him and reminds him to focus on their daughters’ happiness without any obstacles. Meanwhile, Jai contemplates his outfit choices while Aradhana reminisces about Reyansh and receives a call from Jai, who asks about her morning. She responds with the usual pleasant weather report.
She reminds him to arrive on time for the engagement, causing him to inquire about which outfit he should wear from the five that Kriti sent. She assures him to simply follow Kriti’s wishes. He expresses feeling nervous, to which she shares the sentiment and admits it is a significant milestone. Her mind wanders to Reyansh as she envisions a future filled with joy and happiness. She compliments his appearance regardless of what he chooses to wear, bringing a smile to his face. Aradhana also thinks of Reyansh as he arrives and presents her with flowers. She questions whether or not she will actually go through with the engagement, but Reyansh assures her by declaring himself as her family from that day forward. He then takes her under his wing and prepares her for their special event.
He requests her to join the driver. He explains, “I need to prepare myself before leaving.” She responds, “I haven’t confirmed my answer yet.” He reassures her, “Let’s keep it a surprise till the end.” They exchange smiles and he departs. The song “Mai teri hogai yaan” plays in the background as Malini embraces Kimaya and says, “Vikram truly loves you.” Kriti gets dressed and updates her friend about Aradhana. Reyansh contacts Vivek and inquires about his location. Vivek responds, “I’ll be there within an hour. Please don’t lecture me, I’m your father after all.” He adds, “Shagun has reached the girl’s house. I’m on my way to get the ring. When you give it to Aradhana, I’ll be overjoyed.” Reyansh questions if Kadambari is also coming. Vivek assures him, “She’s on her way too. Let’s forget all differences today, it’s your engagement day. Your mother and I love you and want to see your dreams come true.” He then calls Kadambari.
He pleads with Akash to not break their son’s heart. Akash urges Viren to move on from the past, causing Viren to smile. Aradhana approaches Kriti and reassures her that everything will be alright. Kriti shares the news of Kimaya’s engagement to Vikram, and apologizes for interrupting their conversation earlier. She explains that the engagement has been arranged and they have already received a shagun from Vikram’s family. Aradhana is taken aback by this sudden news. Kriti assures Aradhana that she and Kimaya will be happy, just as Aradhana had always wanted for them. However, Aradhana feels the need to leave. Kriti tries to convince her to stay, but Aradhana is unable to comprehend the situation. Suddenly, Kimaya enters and expresses her gratitude towards Aradhana for all she has done. She even hugs her in appreciation. Kriti assures them both that no one will stand in the way of their happiness this time around.
Reyansh reminded Vikram to arrive on time so they could share the truth with everyone. Upon noticing a masked man in his car, the man instructed Kimaya to go with him. Despite Kriti’s plea, Aradhana insisted on going and was reassured by Malini that she had nothing to worry about. Malini expressed her gratitude towards Aradhana for keeping Kimaya happy and safe, acknowledging that she had been informed of the engagement between Kimaya and Vikram as well as acceptance from Vikram’s father despite her pregnancy. This news brought Aradhana to tears.
Malini expresses her gratitude to life for giving Kimaya a chance. She embraces Aradhana, while Kriti looks on. Aradhana runs and contemplates Reyansh’s potential marriage to Kimaya, while Reyansh himself has other thoughts. In that moment, she faces her own inner turmoil. Though she insists that Reyansh will never agree, her inner self questions if she is responsible due to asking him to leave. Despite recognizing her intense love for him, she believes he will not let this misunderstanding ruin their relationship. However, her inner self reminds her of the repercussions of trusting Reyansh – Kimaya’s heartbreak and Malini’s disappointment – and asks if it is worth risking the family for him. Aradhana insists that he has changed, though her inner self remains doubtful of his intentions and warns her against being deceived again. Meanwhile, Vivek arrives at home and meets with Malini and Viren, leaving Aradhana distraught as she wonders how everything went wrong for her.
