He warns Jahnavi, Shobha, and Manorama not to misbehave with Deepika; otherwise, they will face dire consequences. He leaves holding Deepika’s hand, leaving them in shock. Deepika asks him why he scolded Jhanvi when Jhanvi is already sad because of her. Chirag says Jhanvi is sad about herself and asks why she came here.
Jahhnvi says she wants to apologise and comfort Jhanvi after Jahnvi and Prithvi’s marriage is cancelled. She asks if he won’t comfort his brother and wants to remain near his mother. He believes he has already protected his brother by keeping him away from Jhanvi, claiming that after hearing Deepika’s truth, his brother would have broken down. She shouldn’t delay celebrating her best friend’s birthday, he says.
Jhanvi and other devotees decorate the temple and Bal Gopal’s idol. As Deepika prepares for pooja, Panditji informs her that she and everyone present cannot do pooja today as Lavanya ordered. Chirag explains that Lavanya cannot do that and how Panditji let her do so. Panditji claims Lavanya threatened to throw him out of the temple committee and shut down the trust that benefits 1000s of poor people.
As Lavanya walks in with her puppy husband and family, she orders Deepika to leave. Devotees accuse her of doing wrong by preventing them from performing pooja. Lavanya says the temple is hers, and they can only perform pooja if Deepika leaves. Chirag refuses to perform pooja without his wife. Deepika leaves after Lavanya threatens Panditji that if her family doesn’t join her, she won’t let anyone perform pooja.
Chirag and Deepika engage in a heated discussion, with him criticizing her support of something he deems wrong. In response, she asserts that true devotion comes from the heart, not mere attendance at a temple. Despite Chirag’s initial reluctance, Deepika ultimately persuades him to accompany his family to the pooja. With a victorious grin, Lavanya witnesses Deepika lead Chirag into the pooja venue. However, Deepika leaves in tears unbeknownst to her as devotees bless her for her actions. Later on, after completing the pooja, Lavanya proudly declares that she has emerged as the winner. Yet Chirag explicitly states that he only attended at his wife’s behest, so Lavanya’s boasting is unfounded. Moreover, he points out that people admire Deepika for her selfless sacrifices while harbouring disdain towards Lavanya for her selfishness. The devotees continue praising Deepika for her unwavering dedication while vilifying Lavanya for her malicious nature.
When Yashwant congratulates Chirag for his nature, Chirag asks why Shobha and others didn’t attend pooja. Yashwant replies that they didn’t want to. They continue their discussion when Prithvi walks to Chirag and hugs him. Chirag promises him that he will get things right and asks him to give Lavanya time. He thinks he did the right thing by keeping Prithvi away from evil Jhanvi.
