Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 16 August 2024 Written Episode begins with Rajat getting nervous after spotting Ashika inside the boutique. He hides quickly and notices Savi entering with Mrunmayee. He signals her to stay alert, but she does not notice him in time. Ashika approaches Savi and asks what she is doing there. Rajat silently hopes Savi handles the situation well and messages her to keep Ashika occupied while he takes his family out from the other side.
Ashika asks Savi whether she has come for wedding shopping. Savi nods and checks Rajat’s message. Meanwhile, Rajat hands his credit card to the store manager and instructs him to give it to Savi and ask her to shop freely, then return the card later. Rajat quickly leaves the store with his family, while Savi keeps Ashika engaged in conversation.
Ashika tells Savi she will help her choose outfits. Savi politely says she will shop with Mrunmayee because wedding shopping takes a lot of time. Ashika decides to leave and walks a short distance. At that moment, the manager hands Rajat’s credit card to Savi and says Mr Rajat asked her to shop using it. Ashika overhears and immediately questions why Rajat would give Savi his card.
Savi becomes nervous. Ashika says she knows Rajat is trying to bribe Savi to speak in his favour during the custody case. She adds that Rajat is foolish for attempting to bribe a teacher, and says Savi will always make decisions that are best for Sai. Savi agrees and says she will return Rajat’s card.
Meanwhile, Sai asks her nanny to bring her piggy bank. When the nanny asks why, Sai breaks it and says she wants to buy a gift for her mamma. The nanny assumes Sai wants to buy something for Ashika and takes her to a gift shop. Sai picks up a mug that says world’s best mom. Chitra, Arsh’s puppy puppet, spots her and assumes Sai is buying a gift for Ashika. Chitra informs Ashika, who feels overjoyed and believes she has won Sai over with her fake affection.
At the store, Sai gives the shopkeeper a picture of herself with Savi and asks him to print it on the mug. The nanny realises Sai has chosen the gift for Savi because of their close bond. Sai then asks the nanny to take her to Savi’s house.
The Bhosale family gets ready for the haldi ceremony, all dressed in yellow. Savi steps out wearing a yellow outfit with floral jewellery. Shantanu and Isha feel emotional seeing her. Baba Ki Bitiya Hoon plays softly in the background.
Sai enters with her nanny and proudly tells Savi that she has a gift for her. Savi becomes emotional when she sees the world’s best mom mug and remembers the doctor telling her she cannot become a mother. Sai asks if she does not like the gift. Savi hugs her tightly and says it is the best gift she has ever received. Sai then shows the printed photo on the mug.
Isha and Shantanu watch them and say that only Sai can truly keep Savi happy once they are gone. Ashika calls the nanny and orders her to bring Sai home soon. Savi thanks the nanny for bringing Sai and requests her not to tell Ashika. Sai says she has explained everything to the nanny, who assures her she will keep it quiet.
The Thakkar family begins Rajat’s haldi ceremony. Rajat is on the phone discussing a meeting and asks the family to hurry. Aman takes his phone away and tells him to relax. The family applies haldi to him and blesses him, while the younger ones tease him.
Savi arrives with her family. Rajat becomes speechless as he sees her beauty. Savi sits for her ritual. Bhagyashree offers haldi to Isha and invites the Bhosale family to perform Savi’s haldi. After that, the Thakkars begin their flower haldi tradition, throwing flowers at Rajat. He tosses a flower back, and it lands on Savi. Soon both families start throwing flowers at each other and enjoy the moment.
Precap: Milind blesses Savi for a happy future with Rajat. Later, Savi stops the sangeet ceremony and announces that the wedding will not happen. She says she knows what Rajat has done and vows not to let him win Sai’s custody at any cost.
