Upon finding out that Savi is going to college, Bhavani asks Ashwini and Harini about it. As it is Ninad’s birthday today, Bhavani tells him to relax. This is why Savi gets spoilt, says Bhavani. It is only through Savi becoming an officer that their family can break out of poverty, says Ninad. In response, Bhavani says she is a girl and should be married instead. This makes Ninad sad. Ashwini reminds Bhavani that Ninad’s birthday is today and she shouldn’t upset him.
Bhavani hands him a sweet, reminding him that it’s his birthday. Despite Bhavani’s reassurance, Ninad remains confident that Savi will remember his special day and return home soon. Sure enough, Savi arrives home. However, Bhavani immediately questions her about why she went to college despite being told not to. Savi defends herself by stating her desire to educate herself and reminds Bhavani that going to college is not a crime. Bhavani brings up Sai’s past actions of attending college and causing destruction in the household, but Savi stands her ground and insists on pursuing her dream of becoming an IAS officer. In response to this defiance, Bhavani slaps her.
A later episode sees Savi trouble Bhavani by keeping a high volume. Ninad asks her to lower the volume, and she does. Meanwhile, Reva is called for an interview. Ishan takes her interview, and she is impressed by him. She checks Ishan’s profile without realizing that it is connected to the big screen and sends him a friend request. Ishan approves her admission. Reva is delighted, but as she leaves, Ishan says the feeling is mutual. She smiles and leaves.
Savi is mad. Ashwini tells her to eat something. Savi asks where she was when Bhavani slapped her. She adds that she does not wish to get married. Ashwini tells her to lower her voice otherwise Bhavani will start drama again. Ninad calms Savi down. He feeds her. Savi gives him a gift that she brought. It is candy floss. When Ninad sees it, he asks whether Sai and Virat had come. Despite this, Savi says they are busy with their work. Everyone feels sorry for Ninad.

In the meantime, Santa tells Bhavani about finding a great match for Savi and that they are coming to see her. If Savi wins the debate competition, then she will get a scholarship.
