Savi hosts the Saraswati Maata pooja at college, encouraging students to place their books before the idol. Ishan eagerly offers his book and requests Savi to wear her mauli/holi thread. However, Savi dismisses him and instead shares with Ayush that she plans to marry Sam, praising his party-loving nature. Prateek joins Ishan, and they all gather as Savi performs the pooja. She then asks her friend to distribute Prasad to Ishan. Meanwhile, Durva displays photos of Sam on her laptop, labeling him a fun and handsome guy. When Savi approaches Prasad for them, Durva quickly shuts her laptop, fearing any potential evil eye falling on Sam.
Savi asks them to take prasad and pray maata to give them some conscience. Prateek is told that Ishan truly wants to apologize to Savi and takes a cake and flowers for her, but she is not there. She gives them to Harini’s mother-in-law, who must have thrown them out. Prateek asks why he is so bothered. Ishan says he wants to mentor her since she is an outstanding student and has achieved her success through hard work. Prateek suggests that instead of planning an annual day celebration, he throws a pizza party.
Ishan informs the students that the Saraswati pooja went smoothly this year, and as per tradition, he would like to extend an invitation for lunch. As they gather to discuss their preferences, Ishan suggests pizza. One of the students agrees with the choice. Durva playfully pokes fun at her accent, but Ishan shuts her down with a fitting response. Savi declines the invitation, citing her role as cultural secretary, but her friends convince her to attend. Ishan proposes having pizza from the college canteen and enjoying it together. Despite Savi’s initial reluctance, her friends successfully persuade her to join in on the lunch plans.
As students pick chits and choose partners at the canteen, Prateek asks them to select their partner. Ishan finds the bowl empty and tells Prateek that he didn’t get Savi’s chit. Prateek says he intentionally did it and announces that the last table is reserved for Ishan and the cultural secretary. Savi fumes. Ishan tries to be friendly with Savi and prepares pizza according to the instructions.
Savi corrects him. He says he wants to apologize to her, so he takes flowers and cake for her and gives them to Harini’s MIL in her absence, who could have thrown them out. Savi says she threw out that cake and says she doesn’t want to be a mentee of a person who blindly judges things and gives verdicts without listening to the other person. Her only mentor is his mother, and she doesn’t need any mentors; they are just students and teachers.
Feeling disappointed, Ishan turns to pizza to vent his frustration. Prateek then proposes that Ishan be a friend rather than just a mentor to Savi and offers her support. Ishan well receives this suggestion. Later, Savi announces the various activities planned for the college’s annual function. As Ishan enters, he expresses his desire to help out not as a teacher or mentor but as a friend, given that he is an ex-student of the college and can be reached anytime. He kindly offers Savi his assistance whenever needed. Durva overhears this and becomes envious. Meanwhile, Savi’s friends tease her about Ishan’s apparent fondness for her, much to Durva’s dismay.
