Surekha asks Rao Saheb if they shouldn’t delete Shikha’s video and let society humiliate them. Rao Saheb says he came into this city as Yeshwant Rao Bhosale aka Rao Saheb; let’s delete Shikha’s whole account instead of just deleting a video. Shikha deletes her account crying. Ishan returns home and asks Shikha what happened. Chinmay has not come home for the festival, so Rao Saheb says she misses him.
Shikha is comforted by Ishan and he says he will talk to Chinmay dada. Surekha says he will call Chinmay home and he will run. Rao Saheb says though they are cousins, they both love each other like real siblings. He is asked by his aunt to forget about his cousin’s wife and when he will introduce them to his future wife. The girl he dreams of needs three to four girls, but he asked Bappa to send him one with all the qualities he wants.
There is a doorbell ringing, Durva says maybe Bappa has sent Ishan’s dream girl. Ishan opens the door and finds Riva there. Riva says jersey guy. Ishan says stalker girl, she is stalking him to his house. Rao Saheb asks who is it. Ishan says a student stalking him till his house. As soon as Riva walks in, she introduces herself as Riva Marathe and calls Yashwant uncle. Rao Saheb asks Surekha if she had identified her as Swanand’s daughter. Surekha says no.
Surekha identifies Riva as the daughter of his Mumbai friend Swanand Marathe, who he used to call Guddi when he was a child. Rao Saheb says Swanand called him and informed him that she had taken admission to college by herself without any recommendation. He felt proud of her.
He asks Ishan if he identified Riva, they used to play as children, he called her Guddi and she called him Chintu. Riva smiles at Ishan as he remembers childhood incidents. Rekha says Riva came on an auspicious day, today is Ekadashi and she won’t let her go without attending pooja. Durva also encourages Riva to stay back in hostel, as she will feel bored there. Riva agrees.
When Bhavani walks up to Savi, she confronts her for studying instead of listening to music. She tells her to have food early and sleep early since the boy’s family is coming to see her and she doesn’t want to have dark circles. As Savi says, she wants to continue her studies. Bhavani advises her to marry and become a housewife, otherwise she will stop her studies before she gets married. Savi advises her to let it go and save energy for her test tomorrow. She tells her to go, she will return in some time.
Ishan says he has problems with his student’s stay, but not his childhood friend. Surekha serves dinner to family. Family insists Riva stay with them. Riva says she will stay if the managing director lets his student stay with them. Aunt says they have childhood pictures of Ishan and Riva. Ishan says he does not want to see them. The aunt taunts him by calling him Chintu. Ishan asks her not to call him that.
According to Riva, Ishan is a pleasant name that signifies “son of sun,” while Shantanu claims it means “Lord Shiva.” Their aunt explains that Ishan’s parents gave him this name as a tribute to their own initials. However, Ishan becomes upset and expresses his dislike for the name, feeling abandoned by the very people who named him. Opting not to eat, he leaves the room. Later on, Durva and Avni take Riva around the house. Admiring her surroundings, Riva’s attention shifts to Ishan. Curious about her whereabouts in Mumbai, Durva asks where she resides. To which Riva replies, “Bandra,” adding with excitement that it is an area popular among Bollywood stars.
Savi is engrossed in her phone, pretending to be sleeping. Bhavani approaches her with a smile, questioning why Savi’s phone is still on. She urges Savi to wake up or risk having her phone taken away. Despite Bhavani’s promptings, Savi continues to fake snoring. In frustration, Bhavani walks off with Savi’s mobile. Meanwhile, Ishan can be found relaxing in the garden swing. Riva soon joins him and offers a snack, prompting memories of their childhood together. As Ishan happily munches on the snack, Riva playfully asks what he prefers to be called – Mr Bhosale? Sir? Chintu? Or simply Ishan? However, Ishan abruptly announces that he needs to leave for Nagpur tomorrow and leaves without further explanation. Not long after, Shantanu approaches Ishan but is met with a slammed door in his face. Concerned, Riva questions Shantanu about her mistake in asking Ishan such a question. Shantanu replies that sometimes circumstances can make even the simplest questions seem wrong. He then retreats to his room where he breaks down while looking at a photo of his late wife Ishani.
The next morning, Bhavani informs Ninad that a boy’s family will be coming to see Savi. While cooking, Savi receives a call and quickly steps away to answer it. Seeing this, Bhavani stops her and asks where she is going. Savi responds that she needs to retrieve some dried clothes from the terrace before silently walking away. She then calls Isha mam back and arranges to meet her in an hour to leave for Pune. Bhavani instructs Harini to thoroughly clean the house and reminds her not to let Savi wear jeans today. She also reminds Ninad to be ready when the boy’s family arrives at 5 p.m., to which he quips that his little girl has grown up so quickly. Before leaving, Savi seeks blessings from her parents as she enters a new phase of her life. This leaves Bhavani fuming as she walks away.
