In search of Savi, Ishan finds a ghost bungalow locked. He jumps over a wall to enter. He knocks on the door, but nobody opens it. He gets fearful seeing a shadow from a window and prays to Hanuman. When he slips and falls on a bag, he thinks Savi can’t be here. He gets shocked seeing blood on his hand and a body emerging out of a bag. Rupa holds a knife and asks what is happening. Ishan becomes afraid, thinking she is a ghost.
He says he is Ishan Bhosale, director of Bhosale Institute, searching for her student Savi. Rupa takes her in. Ishan asks where Savi is and if she killed him. Rupa says what rubbish. Ishan tells Rupa he saw a dead body in the backyard. She laughs and says she is a known mystery novelist, Rupa Romanchika. Ishan asks if she is the famous Rupa Romanchika, who wrote a mystery novel using method acting.
She leads him to the backyard, unveiling that the lifeless body is a mere prop, and Savi serves as her assistant in writing. Ishan inquires about Savi’s whereabouts. Rupa explains that Savi completed her tasks early and departed. He could reach out to her to confirm. However, Ishan informs her that he has been unable to reach her through phone. Rupa reveals that Savi is collaborating with her until Saturday and will receive a considerable sum of 45000 rs, which she plans on using to pay off her sister’s rent.
Furthermore, Rupa discloses that Savi cannot afford proper meals and survives on biscuits. She admires Savi’s character and appeals to Ishan not to hinder her actions. In turn, Ishan pledges not to intervene and humbly asks for the first signed copy of Rupa’s next novel as a token of appreciation. She willingly accepts his request, and he departs.
Ishan contacts the canteen owner to inquire about Savi’s presence. However, he is informed that she has not been there since being notified of her overdue fees. Nevertheless, Ishan requests that breakfast be delivered to Savi’s room today and assures her that her dues will be paid. As Shantanu strolls by, lost in his thoughts while tending to the garden, he notices an overflowing water supply and promptly alerts Ishan. Concerned, Ishan invites Shantanu to sit on a nearby bench and seeks his counsel for selecting a gift. This gesture touches Shantanu as it is the first time Ishan has sought his advice. Ishan explains that he wishes to purchase a gift for his top student, Savi. In response, Shantanu suggests gifting her a book as she loves reading. This suggestion prompts laughter from Ishan.
Savi, feeling hungry, plans to have a proper breakfast instead of just a biscuit today. As she enters the canteen, the owner brings out her favourite breakfast and mentions feeling remorseful for her absence since he had informed her about her unpaid dues. Savi explained that she was busy organizing the college’s cultural festival. The owner doubts her reasoning, to which Savi responds by assuring him that she will settle today’s bill. However, to Savi’s surprise, the owner reveals that someone has already paid her dues. Curious about who it might be, Savi returns the breakfast and finds out before accepting it. The owner advises against rejecting food and assures her she can look into it later.
Ishan visits Harini’s house, extending an invitation to Savi’s surprise birthday celebration. While there, Savi contacts Harini to inquire about her canteen dues. Harini responds in the negative and glances at Ishan. Taking notice of this, Ishan signals for her not to reveal his presence to Savi. However, Savi speaks poorly of Ishan, referring to him as a “chidkiya” who constantly argues with her and suggesting he should lead the “chidkiya committee.” An uncomfortable Harini is put on the spot when Savi asks if anyone else is present and insists on giving her a tour of the house. Knowing Ishan is hiding, Harini showcases her home before ending the call. With Savi out of earshot, Ishan inquires about Savi’s favourite cake. Harini mentions it is red velvet, and Ishan seeks her assistance in selecting a gift for Savi. However, Harini points out that Savi only accepts presents from those close to her, jokingly addressing Ishan as “madam.”
The following day, Ishan surprises his students by announcing they will play a game instead of studying. He then asks Preeti what word comes to mind when she thinks of Durva. Her response is “arrogant.” Durva is then asked about Kabir and responds with the word “know-it-all.” Lastly, Savi is asked for her thoughts on Ishan himself. She hesitantly shares that she finds him arrogant, irritating, and nosy. Ishan playfully reveals that all these words have an ordinary meaning – arrogance – leaving Savi uneasy about her thoughts being exposed.
