Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 5th August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Urmila meeting the judge to request that Savi’s testimony be excluded from Sai’s custody case. When the judge asks her reasoning, Urmila claims Savi cannot become a mother, says she is Isha’s daughter in law and not her daughter, and even labels Savi and Isha as liars. She also mentions that she cancelled her son’s marriage with Savi for the same reason. The judge immediately understands that Savi must be Sai’s biggest well wisher and scolds Urmila for her insensitive and greedy thinking. She adds that Savi is fortunate to be safe from a woman like Urmila. The judge then calls Savi and informs her about Urmila’s visit, advising her to find out who sent her. Savi recalls Rajat offering her a flat in exchange for testifying in his favour and realises who is behind this. She thanks the judge and leaves.

Urmila returns to Rajat’s office and tells him and Mr Wadia what happened. Mr Wadia worries that the judge may have already formed an opinion about the case and warns that if she finds out Urmila was sent by them, the judgment will go against them. Urmila anxiously asks whether she will face legal action. Wadia says the judge will not spend time pursuing that. Urmila leaves, telling Rajat not to involve her again.

Elsewhere, Ashika is annoyed by the mess left behind after the kids’ party. The maid Mrs Asha says she enjoys such parties. Ashika comments that she enjoys drinks and dancing at parties and then decides to visit a spa at the Winter Palm Hotel. Sai approaches her, crying that her balloon burst. Asha promises to get another one. Ashika takes Sai along to the hotel to cheer her up.

Savi reaches Rajat’s office and confronts him for involving Urmila to attack her character and influence Sai’s custody case. She asks who gave him the right to defame her. Rajat replies that she knows his position and his right concerning Savi. Savi says that instead of targeting her, he should focus on becoming a better father. Rajat snaps and asks who she is to interfere in his life and his daughter’s matters. Savi says she thought he genuinely wanted custody out of love for Sai, but he only wants to win the case at any cost. Rajat says there is a difference between winning a case and bringing Sai home. He adds that if Sai were older, she would know how much her father loves her and would not let Savi interfere.

Savi tells him that Sai will not be happy with him and may leave him one day just like his wife did. She says Sai will suffer because no one can live peacefully with him. Rajat retaliates by saying that at least people live with him even if they are unhappy, unlike those who completely avoid her, such as Vikram and Shashank. He tells her she deserves unhappiness. Savi warns him that she does not need validation from him and if he tries to defame her again, she will put him behind bars and ensure he does not come out easily. She walks out, and Rajat angrily throws things around his office.

Raju then calls Rajat. Rajat says he knows why Raju called and agrees to the marriage proposal, asking Raju to inform the girl’s family. Raju is delighted. Savi also calls Shantanu and asks him to say yes to the prospective groom’s family because she wants to hand her first wedding card to someone, still thinking about Rajat’s hurtful words.

Shantanu and Isha arrive at the hotel and inform Raju. Milind and Harini arrive next. Isha tells them Savi has agreed for the marriage since Shantanu brought the alliance. Harini asks about the groom, but Isha says she has no time to explain and urges them to start preparing. Shantanu prays that the situation resolves peacefully. Isha asks Milind to call Savi. Savi arrives, and Isha asks why she is not ready yet. Harini says she booked a salon appointment and even brought a sari for Savi. Isha sends her along with Harini and tells Milind they need to buy shagun items. Milind takes her to a nearby mall. Bhagyashree calls Tara and tells her to reach the hotel soon because they will be late after shopping for shagun.

Ashika reaches the hotel with Sai and Asha. She tells Sai to play in the play area while she heads to the spa and asks Asha to watch her. Tara arrives at the hotel and instructs the receptionist to arrange a musician and a three tier cake. The receptionist calls the event manager Pankaj. Tara speaks to him. Harini walks in next and asks to see the event manager. Tara and Harini start arguing until the manager disperses them.

Meanwhile, the makeup artist finishes Savi’s look and compliments her. Savi thanks her for accommodating the request at short notice. She steps out after receiving a call from Harini when Ashika enters. Savi greets her. Ashika says she looks beautiful and asks if something special is happening. Savi says her father has chosen a groom and she is getting married. Ashika advises her to get to know the boy before agreeing so she does not end up with someone like Rajat. Savi says she will run away if the man resembles Rajat even slightly. Ashika praises her for that mindset. Savi asks if she came alone and left Sai at home. Ashika replies that Sai is in the play area with Asha. Savi feels sad that Sai is forced to spend time with a nanny despite both parents being present.

Precap: Rajat and Savi arrive at the marriage registrar’s office and insist the officer conduct their wedding immediately for the sake of someone they love. The officer refuses and leaves. They worry they may lose Sai forever if they do not marry. Ashika overhears everything.
