Savi tells Surekha that she knows they don’t like her staying at Bhosale mansion, even she doesn’t like staying here, so until then. Surekha asks what till she? Ishaan recalls Reeva telling him to go home and take his medicine first. He does so. Reeva’s health tracker reveals Surekha’s BP rising next morning. Surekha’s friends ask if her new daughter-in-law’s haldi kumkum ritual is complete.
Asmita says not yet. They ask why she is delaying the ritual so much. Surekha sits nervously. They tell her that her daughter-in-law does not listen to her, that she works as a waitress at a cafe, and that she looks stubborn. They pity Surekha. Even though her orders are still being followed, Surekha says she will perform the haldi kumkum ritual for Ishaan and Savi today.
Surekha approaches Savi and, with a hint of impoliteness, reveals that she must participate in the haldi kumkum ritual with Ishaan today. However, Savi declines. Upon hearing this, Ishaan interjects and declares that he will not partake in any ritual with Savi. Surekha questions his obedience to Savi’s instruction, emphasizing the importance of their family’s reputation. In response, Ishaan defends himself by stating that he, too, is concerned for their family’s dignity and predicts that Savi will cause a scene in front of their guests once again. He suggests that Surekha should ask the guests to leave instead. With that, he walks away, leaving Surekha in disbelief.
Surekha updates Asmita and the others in the kitchen about her failed request to Savi, clarifying that she does not want to face her friends after being rejected. Just then, Reeva visits them. Surekha and Durva are thrilled to see her, and Durva excitedly embraces her. Despite being disappointed that her daughter ignored her request, Surekha is grateful for Reeva’s return. Reeva reveals that she came upon learning about Surekha’s high blood pressure. She explains that she tracks Surekha’s BP using a tracker. When Durva brings up Surekha’s desire to perform Ishaan and Savi’s haldi kumkum ritual, which Savi turned down, Reeva offers to talk to Savi on Surekha’s behalf as she doesn’t want Surekha to be embarrassed by her friend if the ritual doesn’t take place.
She asks Savi why she refused to participate in the ritual. Savi is surprised to see her back at the Bhosale house. The ritual meant a lot to her mother and grandmother, and she did not wish to insult it when she was not ready to perform it. She says she should perform the ritual as a sign of respect for the Bhosale family for all the favours they have done for her.
Savi says Ishaan is in the study room since they don’t stay together. Reeva doesn’t reply and asks why she insists so much. Ishaan is surprised to see her. Reeva walks to the study room. Reeva says Surekha’s blood pressure shot up due to tension, so he should accept her request and perform the haldi kumkum ritual with Savi.
