Savi tells Bappa’s idol that she has to move him to a temporary place on her journey that is not her destiny. As she recalls entering the hostel room, she thinks that she has created her own world with her friends. However, she is forced to lie to them.
Savi’s friends wonder why she is acting strangely; she just returned to the hostel after many days but is not even talking to them. Durva tells them that Savi will no longer speak to them as her standards are much higher. Other students gather, and they are all shocked to hear that Savi married college director Ishaan. Durva explains what she means.
During breakfast, Ishaan inquires about Savi’s absence. Asmita explains that she is at college because her shoulder injury has not completely healed. Ishaan expresses concern and suggests she should have taken a break to rest. Asmita elaborates that Savi didn’t have clean clothes, so she went to the hostel to fetch some. Yashwant interrupts, questioning why they didn’t just buy new clothes or send someone to get them from the hostel. He instructs Nishi and Ishaan to ensure Savi doesn’t cause trouble at the hostel. Afterward, he reprimands Surekha for failing in her duty of keeping an eye on Savi.
Durva is advised by her friends to stop badmouthing Savi because they know everyone knows of her hatred for her. In Durva’s view, Savi achieved her dream of living a lavish life by using her friends, and she even blackmailed Ishaan and married him emotionally after her family’s death. The hostel owner, Sara, tells Preeti that Savi will live in a lavish mansion, so she comes to take her stuff. Durva continues to provoke Savi’s friends against her. Preeti recalls how Savi lied to her about her mangalsutra and Sindhoor.
Savi frustrates Surekha when family members skip breakfast. Asmita orders the servant to pick up the ceramic plates carefully. As Reeva walks towards her wearing a beautiful sari, she stands mesmerized. Surekha blesses Reeva. Surekha also praises her for looking so pretty. Then Reeva touches Alka’s foot.
She blesses Alka’s saubhagyavati bhava and tells Reeva always to be happy. Surekha praises Reeva’s gesture of seeking permission from her and permits her to rejoin college. Reeva leaves. Reeva behaves like an ideal DIL despite not being her DIL, while Savi does not act like a DIL despite being her DIL.
Reeva waits for the cab. Ishaan walks towards her car, worried about Savi when she doesn’t pick up his call, and hopes there won’t be any problems in college. He notices a woman in front of his car and asks her to move aside. When Reeva turns, Ishaan stands mesmerized. When Reeva notices him, she asks him if he said anything. Ishaan doesn’t reply. As she will not be able to get a taxi, Reeva asks Ishaan if she can also accompany him to college. Ishaan agrees and takes her along.
Everyone stares at Savi strangely as she walks towards her class. Students discuss Durva’s claim that Savi has an attitude now. Savi enters her class and tries to talk to her friends, but they refuse to talk to her at first. Then, she asks why a rich girl wants to talk to poor girls. She tells them, “Let her explain.” They say to let them study, and they believe in hard work, not shortcuts like her. Tears stream down Savi’s face as she sits down.
As Ishaan and Reeva are in his car, she says she knows their relationship is different from before, but at least they can be friends. Ishaan says yes, but Reeva asks if he remembers this sari. Her designer friend had bought it from Ramtek when he was there. It would have been better if he hadn’t gone to Ramtek that day, as he never returned to her afterward.
