Ishan pens a message for Savi on her birthday present, signing it as Professor Chidkiya. As Surekha enters the room, she inquires about the smile on his face, wondering if he heard a joke. She becomes curious and tries to peek at what he’s hiding. He quickly takes it away, claiming it’s nothing, and asks if she needs something from him. She requests that he return home early tomorrow as she has welcomed the girl’s family. Ishan mentions having a student council meeting, however she suggests that he come after the meeting. Unfortunately, Ishan cannot disclose his plans for Savi’s surprise party and declines due to other obligations. In response, Surekha promises to reschedule the visit for next week instead.

Ashwini mentions to Bhavani her desire to see Harini and Vinu, as it has been a while since they last met. Bhavani gives Ashwini permission to visit them if she wishes. Ashwini is pleased by Bhavani’s newfound attitude and suspects she may have forgotten Savi’s birthday, so she was allowed to go to Pune. Glancing at Virat’s photo, Bhavani states that Ashwini believes she is becoming forgetful and has forgotten Savi’s birthday. However, Bhavani assures herself that she will never forget Savi’s birthday and fondly remembers how Savi used to start preparing for it a week in advance.

The following morning, Savi takes a stroll in the hostel’s garden. The gardener informs her that he has arranged the plants she requested. Savi performs her yearly ritual of praying for her family’s well-being by showing the plants. She plants brahmi and prays for Ninad’s memory, tulsi for Ashwini’s health, a cactus for Bhavani, a flowering plant to remember her parents on her birthday, and two more plants as she prays for Isha’s reunion with her son and some peace in Ishan’s life. Ishan arrives, and as they are standing together, a cottonseed flower falls on them. Savi is reminded of the auto driver’s words about this flower being a sign of marriage, and Ishan remembers Shukla’s words. However, Savi quickly brushes off any thoughts about marriage for herself.

Surekha overhears Yashwant’s plans to go out and inquires about his destination. Yashwant explains that he is headed to meet with a lawyer to review their father’s will, as it was his father’s wish for him to do so after 25 years since his passing. She then asks if Nishi and Shantanu will accompany him, to which he confirms since they have an equal stake in the inheritance. However, Surekha suggests he goes alone, citing recent situations where they have shown irresponsibility towards the family. She urges him to review the will and then tell his brothers what is best for them.

On a visit to the college, Savi touches Shukla’s feet and asks him to bless her. Shukla asks if it’s her birthday. Ishan hears them and thinks Shukla will ruin his surprise plan. Savi asks him how he knows. Shukla says she looks happy and is wearing a new dress. She asks him not to tell anyone about her birthday. Ashwini feels restless while travelling to Pune with Ashwini and keeps asking the cab driver when they will arrive.

He says she asked for 10 minutes in 5 minutes. Ashwini says she is eager to meet her granddaughter. Savi calls Ashwini. Ashwini disconnects. Savi fumes when everyone ignores her on her birthday. Ashwini calls back and asks Savi to switch on the video call. Ashwini says she has a network problem and is using a voice call. She blesses Savi on her birthday, and the discussion continues.
