In the Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 8th May 2024 written episode, Ishaan sternly reprimands Shukla, warning him to either complete his full 10-hour duty or submit his resignation. Shukla becomes emotional. Meanwhile, his wife waits for him at Savi’s tea shop for lunch. Savi urges her not to worry about her and to focus on Shukla, not wanting him to face any trouble because of her. The wife says Shukla just called and will be arriving soon. However, when Shukla returns, he sadly announces that he has quit his job. Savi asks if Nishi mistreated him, suggesting he should have spoken to Ishaan for help. Shukla reveals Ishaan himself misbehaved and essentially rewarded him with termination. Savi questions if Ishaan got him fired, and Shukla confirms that Ishaan asked him to resign.
Determined to confront Ishaan, Savi heads towards the college but hesitates, remembering how she was kicked out. She then shouts, “Mr. Ishaan Bhosale, get out of college!” Ishaan, driving by in his car, stops as Savi throws a stone breaking his windshield. Angrily, he gets out, and Savi demands he face her instead of punishing Shukla unjustly. Ishaan asks who she is to question him and states he will no longer record the amount in the diary. Savi counters that she doesn’t want that either but questions why he forced Shukla out of his job. Ishaan coldly replies he gave Shukla a choice to complete the 10-hour shift with no outside work or resign. Savi accuses him of punishing Shukla as revenge on her and vows never to forgive him. Ishaan drives off, saying he doesn’t care since she doesn’t matter to him. Furious, Savi mutters that Ishaan is terrible both professionally and personally and laments falling in love with a man undeserving of her.
Elsewhere, Swati meets Surekha, expressing happiness at the newspaper notice about Savi. Surekha justifies it by saying Savi crossed limits and caused problems between Ishaan and Reeva. She believes now they won’t wait for Harini’s recovery to evict Savi and soon discuss Ishaan’s marriage with Reeva. Meanwhile, Savi unsuccessfully tries to contact the education board’s vice-chancellor.
A journalist named Rakesh Saraf from Puneri Sakhad approaches her, urging her to speak up in a newspaper interview about the injustices she has faced from Yashwant and Ishaan. He insists on the interview, but Shukla and his wife advise Savi not to give it. Surprisingly, Savi agrees to the interview. When Rakesh starts recording, Savi sharply criticizes him for trying to manipulate the story and defame Ishaan. She praises Ishaan’s good qualities instead. Rakesh apologizes, saying he was testing her and promises to print her true words. Savi refuses any interview about the Bhosales or Ishaan, while Rakesh reminds her that the interview could help lift her ban and allow her to take exams again.
