Shikha serves tea and snacks to family and guests. Durva complains that Mukul gave her a small gift box and a large one to Anvi. Mukul says she is his favourite and robust, but Anvi is weak and doesn’t know the world’s tactics properly. The man says he will surprise Anvi with a gift. When Mukul comes into the room, Anvi is chatting on the phone with a friend. She gets tense seeing him. He sings a jingle at her.
Nishi walks in and feels surprised to see Mukul. Mukul sings a jingle for him and hugs him. He says he wants to adopt Anvi since he doesn’t have children and will call a lawyer to finish the formalities. Mukul offers Anvi a gift and says he will take her to Paris, although Anvi has always been his daughter.
Then, during dinner, Mukul tells Reeva that she has experienced a wrong, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and yet she still supports this family with such a big heart that only a woman can possess. His next question is where Savi is. Surekha says she has food alone in her room. Mukul asks Ishaan to get in touch with his wife. Durva hopes that Savi won’t cause any problems in the future.
As Mukul Maama calls Savi, Ishaan calls her and asks her to come along without creating drama. Savi walks along with him as Mukul asks her to take a seat. The wife’s seat is next to her husband, so Mukul asks Durva to move to another seat. Surekha tells Durva to obey Mukul. Ishaan sits next to Savi.
Savi apologizes to Mukul for misunderstanding him earlier after dinner. Mukul asks if she’s sorry since he’s Ishaan’s mom. Savi says she feels guilty and wants to apologize for it. Mukul laughs and tells her to forget it. Savi asks if he forgave her. He offers her saunf, tells her to always fight for her rights, and gives her a moral gyaan about women’s power. She says no thank you and leaves. He smiles.
As Shaan examines Yashwant’s medical college file, he recalls his warning that they must secure funds at any cost for medical college. Savi drops a note in his study room, and when he leaves, he asks why she is doing this. Because he doesn’t want to talk, she uses this method to talk to him. She says she needs to speak, but he doesn’t want to.
Savi tells Ishaan about Preeti paying college fees, but the admin refuses to acknowledge it and gives her a receipt. Another girl had similar issues. Ishaan says it’s impossible since they make entries on a computer and asks if she is from the college’s governing body that she is interviewing. He knows she only wants an excuse to talk to him. When she shuts the door to his study room, Savi says she does not wish to speak to him.
The following day, Savi arrives at the college hostel and discovers Preeti locking herself in a room. Together with Kajol and Anvi, they break the door open and are taken aback by seeing Preeti attempting to take sleeping pills to end her life. Concerned, Kajol asks why she would resort to such an extreme measure. Preeti explains that today is the final day for paying tuition fees and that her parents have to struggle to gather enough money for her education. She fears being shamed if she returns home without completing her studies. Another student shares a similar experience with a classmate. Realizing this may be a more significant issue, Savi suggests gathering all the students who paid fees but were denied a receipt from the administrative office.
