The episode begins with Jhanak bringing Anirudh back to his ward and asking him to rest. She assures him she wants to stay by his side, but he refuses to quietly watch her get insulted anymore. The nurse arrives and questions how Anirudh left his room. When she checks his vitals, she notes his blood pressure is high and warns another attack could be dangerous.

Anirudh asks if Jhanak will leave now to avoid trouble. He teases her about Aditya’s feelings, but Jhanak insists Aditya is only a friend and she can’t love anyone in this life. Anirudh confesses that he tried to make things work with Arshi but couldn’t stop missing Jhanak. Now that he knows she and Aditya are only friends, he openly admits his love and says he can’t live without her.

Elsewhere, Appu wakes and asks Anuradha about Lalon. She worries he won’t return to take her to Anirudh, but Anuradha promises she will make sure she visits the hospital. Meanwhile, Jhanak comforts an emotional Anirudh, who apologises for the past and asks her to stay until he recovers. He speaks of ending things with Arshi, but Jhanak reminds him it’s not in her fate to be with him.

Anirudh is eventually discharged and returns home, where the family welcomes him. Dadu blesses him, and Choton reassures everyone of his recovery. Mrinalini informs them that Jhanak will be staying until Anirudh is fully well. This angers Dadi and Tanuja, but Anirudh defends his decision, stating his marriage with Arshi was never complete and he doesn’t believe in it. He declares he will formalise their separation once she returns.

The family is shocked, with Shubh and Tanuja blaming Jhanak for influencing him. Bipasha accuses him of wanting to marry Jhanak again, while Tanuja brings up her connection to Aditya. Anirudh silences them, reminding everyone of Jhanak’s sacrifices. Jhanak stands her ground against Shubh, challenging his integrity and making it clear she will not leave until Anirudh recovers.

While Lal suggests hiring a nurse, Mrinalini supports Jhanak, insisting she came only for Anirudh’s sake. Anirudh demands that no one insult her further. Dadi warns that Arshi will not tolerate Jhanak’s presence, but Anirudh reminds them Arshi has already chosen to leave. Shubh mocks the idea of Jhanak caring for him, and Jhanak responds that she will not act as a nurse but speak the truth if they have the courage to hear it.

Aditya and Jhanak work on an ad shoot. Aditya informs her about Anirudh’s accident, and she rushes to him, praying for his safety. On the way, she spots Tejas and shouts. Tejas kidnaps her, shoves her into a car, and pushes it off a cliff, declaring, “Over.”
