The Episode starts with Arshi reminding Anirudh about their Sangeet and asking if he will be attending tomorrow. Anirudh confirms that he will be there but explains that he might arrive late. Sensing a change in his tone, Arshi points out that it is Jhanak’s wedding and expresses her happiness for the occasion. Anirudh assures her of his presence, and they bid each other farewell.
He states that he came here to sell books, not reveal feelings or propose marriage. She remarks on his lack of manners and asks for his name. Jhanak adds that he could have explained he didn’t wish to marry. She kindly offers him food. Anirudh clarifies that Arshi failed to recognize he was struggling with a high fever, but she would have understood even through a phone call. She insists they not compare her to Arshi. She then goes on to feed him the food. He expresses gratitude for her support during his fever last night, wondering if she was uncomfortable when he hugged her in his sleep. Jhanak ponders over his words.
She thinks he doesn’t remember anything. She says I’m not particularly eager to talk about these things. Look at me, I am confused, like someone made two halves of my heart. If you come to me, I will feel good and do my duty with Arshi. I will handle everything for you. Why didn’t I stop you from being happy with Arshi? She wonders if I will get sad seeing you happy with him.
Mrinalini accuses you of hiding your identity from me. Once again, he tells a lie. She grabs a stick and threatens to call the police. Demanding to know his name, he reveals it as Dibankar Bose. When she asks for his father’s name, he playfully teases her and claims not to be interested in her. However, she warns him that everything is being recorded on camera. Feeling trapped, he apologizes and finally confesses the truth. Anirudh then asks Jhanak if she has eaten, to which she replies in the affirmative and encourages him to rest while the doctor arrives. He expresses gratitude that despite his fever, Jhanak came to see him, and he was able to sleep peacefully because of it. She then exits the room.
Choton says no, he likes to lie. Mirinalini asks if you’ll lie again. She asks if you’re married. He says who will give me their daughter? I’m unemployed, don’t tell my family, I won’t return. She gives him a list and asks him to get the books for her. She blackmails him and asks him to get the books for her. She asks for a discount. He says, okay, I’ll get it tomorrow. She says, okay, you can go now.
He asks for tea and biscuits. Ramlal gets them. Choton smiles and thanks her. He sits down. He says, “I spoke to Ani. He said he would get Jhanak married and come. Shrishti says it’s my responsibility to make sure Arshi gets married well.” Arshi talks about wedding preparations. She asks him to take an off. He says he’ll arrange the arrangements. Arshi smiles.
Bipasha asks Arshi to come to Anirudh’s house. Arshi says Anirudh will be back today, I have stopped working, sangeet is today, I must talk to Ani. She gets the Sangeet outfits. Tanuja says we also bought clothes for you. Arshi says we did. Dadi says Bengali sarees are the best.
Arshi says it’s old-fashioned now, and sangeet is today. Why would we wear sarees? Rumi says it’s good, Jhanak isn’t here, she never appreciated being allowed to stay in the house. Choton asks why you say that. She says she has done wrong with Arshi and everyone and is mannerless. Anjana says she did that on Anirudh’s advice; don’t blame her always. Dadi asks why you love her a lot. Anjana argues.
Jhanak’s wedding is today. Shubh says you love her a lot. Choton says I tried to call her. It’s a big day for her. She hasn’t been happy in her life, so this marriage could make her better. Arshi says, “Anyways, leave it.” Anirudh helped her, and now she has reached her destination. The issue is resolved.
