Jhanak 20th December 2025 Written Update begins with Rishi firmly declaring that Jhanak will not go anywhere as long as he is in the house. Aditi snaps back, saying Jhanak failed to adjust in Bose’s house and even in the hostel, yet she manages to stay comfortably here only because of Rishi. She accuses Dadabhai of blindly supporting Jhanak just because she does household work. Rishi warns Aditi not to speak disrespectfully about Dadabhai.

Aditi argues that Dadabhai and Putul support Jhanak so much that she has become overconfident, without realising how their favouritism affects others. She questions why Rishi expects her to support Jhanak when Jhanak keeps insulting her and Aniruddh. Rishi calmly repeats that Jhanak will stay in the house. Aditi accuses him of getting too close to Jhanak and scolds him for not maintaining distance. Rishi asks her to stop talking like this.

Aditi announces her final decision that Jhanak cannot stay there and orders Rishi not to interfere in Jhanak’s matters. Rishi replies that he is not her slave to obey her commands. Aditi claims Jhanak wants to snatch both Aniruddh and Rishi from her and accuses Jhanak of being jealous. Rishi counters that if Jhanak wanted to, she would already be his wife, but instead she sacrificed everything for Aditi.

Aditi brings up the incident where Jhanak confessed her love for Rishi in a drunken state and says she is not foolish enough to miss Jhanak’s intentions. She directly tells Jhanak to leave the house. Rishi stops her, saying she has no right to behave this way. Aditi declares she will leave the house herself if Jhanak stays. Jhanak intervenes and says it is Aditi’s house, so she should not leave, and instead Jhanak will go. Dadabhai reminds everyone that it is his house and he will decide who stays. Aditi bitterly tells him that her presence clearly does not matter to him.

Jhanak says she will leave. Rishi asks where she will go, and Jhanak replies that she will manage. Aditi taunts that Rishi might even buy a house for Jhanak and warns her about society’s judgement if that happens. Jhanak is deeply hurt and asks Aditi not to stoop so low. Neelu tells Jhanak to stay quiet, saying Aditi is angry because of her. Jhanak responds that she tolerated insults against herself but will not tolerate insults against Nutan. Putul asks Jhanak to go inside, but Aditi insists she will not change her decision.

Sanjhbati questions Aditi’s behaviour and offers to take Jhanak to her own house since Jhanak has nowhere to go. Jhanak refuses, saying she is exhausted by all the drama. Rishi tells Aditi to leave if she wants. Aditi accuses him of valuing Jhanak more than his own wife. Tanushri reminds Rishi that Jhanak is not his responsibility and is capable of taking care of herself.

Jhanak packs her bag. Putul begs her not to leave, but Neelu stops Putul. Putul asks why Jhanak does not fight back against Aniruddh instead of suffering silently. Aditi repeats that she should not have to tolerate Jhanak when she keeps insulting Aniruddh. Rishi declares once again that Jhanak will not leave the house at any cost. Tanushri asks him to stop arguing and let Jhanak go. Indumati adds that Jhanak cannot stay there and fight Aniruddh, as the constant clashes are happening because of her presence.

Dadabhai finally asserts that no one can throw Jhanak out of his house. Furious, Aditi announces that she is leaving immediately and will only return once Jhanak leaves. Before walking out, she tells Jhanak that she may have won today, but this is not the final outcome. Jhanak clarifies that she is not fighting Aditi but fighting Aniruddh for Nutan. Aditi challenges Jhanak to win this battle without Rishi’s support and accuses her of using Nutan’s name for personal gain. She makes a cruel remark about Nutan and warns Jhanak never to drag her name into this fight again. She confidently claims Jhanak will never win.

Later, Aditi reaches her parental home. Arshi and Anjana question her, while Aniruddh asks who is troubling her. Aditi says she left Rishi’s house because she can no longer live there and declares she wants a divorce. Aniruddh advises her against it, but Aditi insists Rishi only thinks about Jhanak. Arshi claims that if Rishi divorces Aditi, he will live with Jhanak. Aditi vows to defeat Jhanak, while Aniruddh promises to ensure that Jhanak is forced to leave the city.

Meanwhile, Rishi informs Jhanak that journalists are waiting for her. Jhanak worries about Aditi hurting herself, but Rishi reminds her that grave injustice was done to her and Nutan. He reveals that Aniruddh tried to kill her and says she must not step back now. Rishi confesses that he has decided to divorce Aditi and wants to marry Jhanak. He asks if he deserves to be her husband. Jhanak replies that he became her husband the moment he filled her forehead with vermilion, but she does not want to come between him and Aditi. Together, they head to face the media.

At the press conference, Jhanak announces that she is revealing the truth for Nutan’s sake. She shocks everyone by declaring that Aniruddh is her father.
