The Episode kicks off with Anirudh and Jhanak heading towards the car. He informs her that the car won’t start, but she responds with a prayer, admitting her fear of the inclement weather. Anirudh assures her that they will make it home if the car cooperates. However, Jhanak suggests he drop her at their current location. He refuses to leave her alone in such hazardous weather conditions. Eventually, the car starts, and they embark on their journey. Shubh disbelieves Jhanak for committing such a grave error and plans to leave. Arshi ponders what excuse she will use as Jhanak is known for being stubborn and unlikely to change her mind. Choton believes that perhaps there is more to the situation and that Jhanak may be facing some difficulty.
Arshi voices her disapproval of Jhanak. As Anirudh and Jhanak make their way, their car suddenly stops. Anirudh explains that water has entered the engine, causing the breakdown. However, Jhanak suggests attempting to restart the vehicle. Anirudh lightens the mood by joking about how far they are from home and how risky it would be to venture out in the rain. He reassures her there’s no need to panic as it is out of their control. But Jhanak is insistent on going home. Concerned for their safety, Anirudh suggests seeking shelter under a nearby shade and calling a mechanic for help. Despite his efforts to ease her fears, she admits feeling scared. Without hesitation, he accompanies her to the safe spot, where they both alight from the car. In a heartwarming moment, she stumbles, but he quickly catches her in his arms, with the romantic tune of ‘Rimjhim giri saawan’ playing in the background…
His first question is whether you’re okay. He takes her to the shade. He says we’ll have to wait here until the storm passes. There’s no one here. He says I’m there, are you scared of me. She asks if you’re not scared. It’s such an isolated place if anyone comes. He replies no one will come. She says I’m afraid of this bad weather if we don’t get home on time… He says I’m not scared of them. Things are out of our hands. She says Arshi would be upset. Nevertheless, he says she’ll wait.
“Bablu turns to Anjana, expressing his disappointment that she didn’t inform everyone about Jhanak. Shubh joins in with his mocking remarks. However, Anjana defends herself, engaging in a heated argument with Tanuja and Bipasha. She mentions how Jhanak has been a great help to her and has been looking after Appu. Jhanak speaks up, expressing her worry and tension. Anirudh attempts to ease the situation by suggesting they build a fire to dry their wet clothes. Anjana shares her fear of being humiliated, to which he responds that they are in a difficult situation due to the storm and heavy rains. He encourages her to embrace the moment and enjoy the experience as it may not return.”
She sneezes. He says you can catch a cold and fall ill. He lights some wood. Anjana scolds Lal. She asks him not to sound foolish. Bipasha says Anjana is calling you a fool. Lal has messed up and must have his mum scolded him. Anjana has a right to do so, and you can’t interfere with this.
Taking the matter elsewhere, Tanuja says we can’t sit silent; we’re liable if anything goes wrong with Jhanak. Arshi says she won’t be leaving; she’s a drama queen, and she’ll come back again. Lal says, “Arshi, it’s 10.30; we’ll wait until 11.” Bipasha asks, “What if they don’t show up?” Then Lal says, “Let’s wait, and I feel they’ll show up.”
Choton says Anirudh’s phone is off. Arshi says he doesn’t know what he’s doing. When she calls the office and asks about Anirudh, the man says there is no one in the office; everyone has left. She asks when she left. He says around 5 p.m. Shubh thanks her. She says Anirudh left the office at 5 p.m.
Anirudh lit the fire. She asked how she would dry her clothes, and he said, “I will tell you.” He took her dupatta. She got tense. He said, “I have covered you; you can dry your clothes now.” He looked at her and said, “Dry your clothes, or you’ll have to visit the hospital.” He looked at her. Dil bandh raha hai….plays…
Jhanak finishes drying her hair and turns to face him. She notices his wet clothes and comments on them. He suggests she starts the fire while he does the same for himself. She becomes startled by some sparks and instinctively leans into Anirudh for comfort. They share a silent moment, gazing into each other’s eyes. He breaks the silence by acknowledging that their marriage is not accepted by anyone else, but it remains true as they were married in a temple. Jhanak is confused and asks for clarification. He explains that he was reminded of their marriage by the rain and storm outside, but she interrupts, stating that she doesn’t want to dwell on it. He persists, admitting that he often thinks about those moments and holds them close to his heart. Their gaze remains locked throughout this exchange.
