As the episode begins, Arshi sits for her mehendi. Rumi and Bipasha ask Jhanak to apply mehendi to her. She asks Anirudh to say. Arshi says yes, I want to see how beautiful she applies the design to me. Jhanak promises to do her best. Anirudh says yes, she will do your feet. Lal claims Anirudh knows how to treat a maid and that it is insulting to Jhanak. Jhanak applies mehendi to Arshi’s feet.
Arshi said Jhanak would also apply mehendi to my hand; I liked the design. Having seen Anirudh once, Jhanak asks her to look good to him, so if she looks good to him, it will happen as he wants. Arshi says you should apply it first, and then we’ll ask him. She asks Jhanak to dance. Jhanak says no, let your friends dance today. I’ll just apply mehendi; it’ll be fine.
Anirudh thinks a new game will start, I will insult you now, I did not forget the last night, you will understand how much he loves Arshi. He goes to Arshi and hugs her. Janak hugs on. Everyone smiles and teases her. Anirudh says I have a right to Arshi. She says yes. Shrishti says a beautician will make Arshi ready, and you’ll stay there, too. Jhanak says, “Sure, I’ll take care of her well, so her husband won’t look away from her.” Choton gives Mrinalini the books. The meeting is on, so you should wait outside. The man says he came for your work, so whatever the reason, you should go later. She ends the meeting.
As if he were telling me that I had a lot of work, I had to attend Anirudh’s wedding function and give him a gift. They argue. Arshi asks Anirudh what he said. He says, yes, everyone’s pulling my leg. Bipasha says you both started again. He says no, we were fixing the honeymoon date. They talk and laugh. Arshi says I have an imp program. Anirudh says there can be no program for a month. All your appointments are mine. Jhanak turns away.
Choton reminds you that those are your books. Will you please put them in the school account? He mentions that they are also for use in the school library. He notes that while your father is very polite, you tend to be rude. It always upsets me when I come here. Choton adds that your mother and Anjana have invited you to all the wedding functions. You reply yes, explaining that you are currently free like him. He says that his parents have also asked you and he will inform them about what you said. You clarify that you only shared your thoughts with him, not with them directly. He insists that you did tell them but then reveals a significant tragedy in his life. His mother found him on the street and now forces him to do all kinds of work around the house. He suspects his parents want to arrange a marriage between him and Mrinalini, so he plans to manipulate her thinking instead.
Shrishti says Arshi has an imp program. Anirudh says the honeymoon is more important. Jhanak says it’s done. Anirudh takes Arshi to dance. Choton thinks they’d like to get rid of me. Mrinalini says your family isn’t bad. He asks why will I lie to you, why am I sharing this with you, I didn’t get married, I have nothing, who would want to marry me. She says I don’t want to hear about your sad story. He says let it be. Can you give me my money?
Anirudh and Arshi sway to the tunes of Mehendi lagake rakhna…Shrishti notices Anirudh’s happiness in Arshi’s presence. Jhanak feels sad, thinking Anirudh is only happy because she mentioned it earlier. Her thoughts revolve around him. Mrinalini hands over money to Choton, who expresses gratitude as it is much needed. He then asks if she will join him tomorrow, to which she responds that she will consider it. Choton then proceeds to ask her why she never got married despite coming from a good family and being beautiful and well-educated. He suggests it might be due to her short temper. His audacity takes advantage of Mrinalini, and he rebukes him for his lack of manners. Choton admits to not being educated but warns her to be careful nonetheless. She demands an explanation for his behaviour, but he shrugs it off and bids her goodbye, promising to meet again tomorrow.
It is for a special reason that Shubh has called you here. Arshi asks what’s the matter. Shubh answers that it is a solution to our problems. Lal says tell us about it. Shubh says I wanted this signed before the function. Arshi says you should talk to Ani. Tanuja asks if he has a problem. Arshi says no, he shouldn’t be absent. Shubh agrees. He asks Lal to call Anirudh. Lal leaves. Shubh says I do not want Jhanak to do dramas or keep any demands.
Arshi thinks it’s okay if she asks for money; she’s smart, she wants to be great, and she can ask for everything. Tanuja probes more about what you mean. Bipasha claims she sought Anirudh. Lal claims they have something to talk about. Dad disagreed when Anirudh said I was ready to cover marital expenditures. Lal says no; simply come instead. Jhanak believes I should bring Uncle dinner on schedule. She wonders why I am unhappy when Anirudh is showing Arshi love.
