The episode of Jhanak on 5th December 2024 begins with Bablu vowing that whoever committed the crime will have to pay the price. Vinayak agrees and says his own family is responsible for the tragedy. He tells Jhanak that he is certain Shrishti is behind everything and promises to expose the truth with proof.
Anjana gently asks Jhanak to have some water, but Jhanak remains lost in grief. Anirudh consoles her, saying that everyone is with her and she must not give up. Choton and the others try to pacify her as well. Jhanak sits silently, recalling Brij’s memories, and hears a group of sadhus singing nearby, which makes her emotional.
Anirudh brings Brij’s ashes to her. Jhanak takes the pot in her arms, hugging it tightly as tears roll down her face. She cries bitterly, asking why fate left her alive while taking her loved ones away. Anirudh, moved by her pain, says that his own life would be ruined if she leaves him. Jhanak immerses the ashes in the river, weeping inconsolably.
Anjana assures her that everyone loves her and only wants her happiness. Jhanak, however, insists that she needs to leave the city and go far away to start afresh. Anirudh refuses and tells her she will stay with them for a few days — he won’t let her go alone. Choton also reminds her that she isn’t alone and the family will always stand by her.
At the same time, Arshi enters, looking beautiful. Bipasha and Tanuja compliment her appearance, but Arshi, still heartbroken, says there is no use — Anirudh doesn’t listen to her anymore. She says he pretended to love her, and now she feels betrayed by her own destiny. Tanuja admits she can’t console Arshi because she overheard Choton asking Anirudh to marry Jhanak. Lal is shocked and questions Choton’s intentions. Bipasha claims Choton only wants Jhanak to help him get work through Aditya.
Meanwhile, Anirudh and Vinayak continue to encourage Jhanak, asking her to stay strong and not make any hasty decisions.
Elsewhere, Rumi and Mimi are at college. Rumi discusses Dr. Sen’s case, while Mimi warns her not to take any drastic step. Their friends tease Rumi, asking if she’s fallen in love. Rumi denies it and says she only exposed Dr. Sen to take revenge. Mimi then declares that she plans to humiliate him in return, telling her friends to get their cameras ready for revenge footage.
Back at home, Jhanak sits in her room, crying as she looks at Brij’s photograph. She says her father was snatched away from her forever and wonders what she will do now. Meghla and Lalon visit her. Meghla hugs Jhanak tightly and asks if she knows who is behind Brij’s death. Jhanak silently shakes her head.
Lalon says he has to leave for work and will come later to pick up Meghla. Meghla stays back and consoles Jhanak, saying her father’s spirit will always be with her.
At the college, Mimi continues plotting revenge, instructing her friends to prepare cameras and get a letter from the college to trap the doctor.
Later, Jhanak and Meghla sing a melancholic song — Do Naina… — remembering their loved ones. Afterward, Jhanak thanks Meghla for being with her. Jhanak notices Meghla looking sad and asks if something is wrong. Meghla tearfully admits that Ranbir is no longer talking to her and that he plans to marry Adrija.
Jhanak consoles her and tells her not to lose hope. She advises Meghla to fight for her love and not let misunderstandings destroy her relationship. Meghla nods and says she will try. She reminds Jhanak that her parents’ blessings are always with her, and so is she. The two share an emotional hug. Meghla then suggests they go out for a walk in the garden to get some fresh air.

Jhanak refuses to eat. Dadi scolds her for being stubborn. Anirudh intervenes and says he has asked Jhanak to stay with them. Arshi and Anirudh get into a heated argument over Jhanak’s presence.
