Jhanak 8th December 2025 Written Update begins with Jhanak assuring Aditi that she knows the latter does not suspect her. However, she insists on bringing her bag to prove her innocence and walks inside to get it. Dritimaan tells Aditi not to worry and says the jewel will be found. Aditi explains that her parents bought the jewellery with their hard earned money, which is why she is anxious.
Jhanak returns with her bag. Rishi taunts the family, saying that it seems only Jhanak’s bag is being checked. Mishti opens Jhanak’s bag, and the jewel suddenly falls out, shocking everyone, especially Jhanak herself. Arshi smirks at the sight. Aditi questions how the jewel ended up in Jhanak’s bag. Jhanak swears on God that she knows nothing about it and insists she did not steal the jewel.
Dadabhai says no one will believe her since the jewel was found in her bag. He adds that Jhanak should never have gone to lock Aditi’s room. Sanjhbati questions Aditi about why she sent Jhanak to her room in the first place and says something feels suspicious because they all know Jhanak’s nature. Rishi reminds Jhanak that he had warned her not to trust anyone.
Aditi asks if they are accusing her of planning everything to frame Jhanak. Arshi tells Aditi that instead of blaming Jhanak, everyone is doubting her and reminds Aditi that she had already warned her not to defend Jhanak. Aniruddh declares that the police will find out how the jewel reached Jhanak’s bag.
Rishi assures Jhanak that nothing will happen to her and questions the need for police when he himself is an officer. Aniruddh counters this by saying Rishi could manipulate the case, which is why an independent police investigation is necessary. Rishi warns Aniruddh not to cross his limits and promises to find the real culprit. Aditi requests everyone not to involve the police, saying the jewel has already been found and the matter should end there. She claims she knows Jhanak is not a thief.
Arshi questions why Aditi still trusts Jhanak. Jhanak again tells Aditi that she did not steal the jewel and even swears on Nutan to prove her innocence. Rishi asks Jhanak not to defend herself, saying he trusts her completely.
Later, Aniruddh confronts Aditi and asks why she defended Jhanak. Arshi expresses disbelief that Aditi let such a big opportunity slip away. Aditi explains that Rishi would have intervened anyway, and she had no option but to support Jhanak in front of him.
Jhanak arrives with sweets, saying Indumati asked her to distribute them. Aniruddh coldly tells Aditi to send Jhanak away as he does not want to speak to a thief. Jhanak firmly declares she is not a thief and accuses someone of plotting against her. She calls Aniruddh a thug and reminds him that she has not forgotten how he betrayed her and her mother. She warns him not to mistake her silence for weakness.
Aditi asks Jhanak to stop speaking disrespectfully to Aniruddh. Jhanak replies that she only spoke the truth. She says she respects Aditi and will not break her promise to her, but she will not tolerate insults. Jhanak demands a police investigation, stating she is not afraid. She leaves the room. Aniruddh angrily says he will teach Jhanak a lesson and tells Aditi not to inform anyone as the police will arrive the next day.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati reaches her house with Dritimaan. Sanjhbati’s mother taunts Dritimaan upon seeing him. Dritimaan admits that he knows she is angry. Kaka remarks that Dritimaan took his decision alone. Dritimaan requests them to scold him if they want but not ignore him.
Sanjhbati’s mother says everything has changed and accuses Dritimaan of ruining Sanjhbati’s life. She calls him selfish and says he never thought about her daughter. Sanjhbati tries to calm her mother and says she already discussed everything with Dritimaan. However, her mother refuses to listen and declares she will not support Dritimaan under any circumstances.
She tells Dritimaan that there is no guarantee he will not betray them again. Dritimaan admits his mistake was grave but insists his intentions were good. Kaka clearly states that they will never agree to Sanjhbati and Dritimaan’s marriage. Sanjhbati assures her family that she will not go against them. Her mother says Sanjhbati can go with Dritimaan if she wants. Sanjhbati replies that Dritimaan has suffered too, but her mother says she cannot forget her daughter’s pain. Sanjhbati declares she will not marry Dritimaan without her family’s permission. Dritimaan promises to wait and hopes one day they will accept him before leaving.
Back at the house, Rishi apologises to Jhanak. He asks if she cannot see that someone is deliberately framing her. Jhanak questions why he gets angry when she is insulted and says she is used to facing challenges. Rishi reassures her that he trusts her completely and believes she will achieve something great one day. He encourages her to make Nutan proud and promises his support.
Jhanak acknowledges his concern but reminds him that he is a married man. She warns him that chasing after her will only destroy his happiness. Rishi insists he will always stand by her and says Jhanak deserves respect. Jhanak admits she does not know if she has the strength to fight and asks him to leave.
Aditi arrives and asks what they are discussing. Rishi tells her that Jhanak was falsely accused. Aditi says her parents want police involvement as they want the truth. Rishi agrees that the investigation should happen. Aditi asks Jhanak to rest, but Jhanak says she wants to wait for Dritimaan. Aditi reminds her that she is not the daughter in law of the house. Jhanak calmly replies that she is waiting as Dritimaan’s sister and has no intention of snatching anything from Aditi. Aditi says Jhanak cannot do so even if she wants. Jhanak denies having any such intention and walks away. Rishi supports Jhanak and follows her inside.
