The Episode begins with Shrishti questioning Anirudh about his remarks and inquiring if Jhanak had done something wrong. Anirudh, however, declines to discuss the matter. Choton interjects and asserts that Jhanak is a guest and deserves respect. He reminds Anirudh that he was the one who brought her here and that it was unfair to scold her. Jhanak then urges them to carry on with the ritual. Vinayak steps in and requests Anirudh to refrain from insulting Jhanak as it will reflect poorly on their family. He adds that such behavior is unexpected from Anirudh. Meanwhile, Shubh and Tanuja complete the ritual, proudly displaying their abundance of jewelry.
Shrishti says Arshi doesn’t wear so much jewelry. Shubh says it doesn’t mean we won’t give her jewelry; the wedding will still happen. He praises Arshi and gives her gifts. Tanuja gives the diamond bangles. Shrishti says wow, that’s a good choice. Tanuja blesses Arshi. Shrishti invites Choton.
My blessings have no value, Choton says. Shrishti says fine. She asks Lal and Bipasha if they want to do the rasam. Lal says yes. Appu argues. Lal and Bipasha do the rasam and give gifts. I won’t do the rasam because I don’t like Arshi. I don’t love her. Shrishti asks Jhanak to dance. She refuses. Shrishti insists. Jhanak dances on Mann Mohana. Anirudh sees Jhanak bleeding.
Jhanak receives a round of applause from the crowd. Anirudh notices Jhanak’s foot is bleeding and calls out to Choton. Choton expresses his disappointment, stating that he used to be proud of Jhanak but is now ashamed. He adds that he may not have much wealth, but at least he has humanity, unlike Jhanak, who seems to have lost herself. Shrishti chimes in, suggesting that Jhanak should explore other dance forms instead of just classical dance, which can become monotonous for the audience. However, Jhanak defends herself by saying that she has no interest in pursuing dance as a profession. This leads to a heated argument between Shrishti and Jhanak. Meanwhile, Vinayak praises Jhanak’s performance, finding it stunning and enjoyable.
She says if her mother were still alive, she would have given you a gift from her side, so I want to give you a diamond ring. It’s a diamond ring. Arshi asks how you got it. Bipasha says it’s an expensive diamond ring, but Jhanak says it’s nothing to Arshi. Lal asks who gave you the money. Jhanak says yes, it’s nothing.
The dadi asks, “Didi, did you take money from Anirudh?” Jhanak answers Shrishti. Arshi takes the ring. She says you can return it if needed. She says you can take it back any time. She says I won’t need it, and I hope you don’t do anything to make me unable to take back my mum’s blessings. I want Arshi and Anirudh always to be happy with each other.
It’s blood on your foot, Anirudh says. Everyone sees it. Appu says it’s blood. Arshi asks how you noticed it. Anirudh says I saw it on the carpet. Jhanak says it’s okay, I will clean the wound. He asks if I should get a bandage. Choton says I’ll handle her, and you go for the photo shoot.
Anirudh and Arshi take some pictures while Choton attends to Jhanak. She assures him she does not need a bandage, but Anirudh still has his eyes on her. Vinayak offers to get the bandage instead and asks Jhanak to sit down. She catches sight of Anirudh and Arshi, and they exchange glances. Choton then gives Jhanak some words of encouragement, saying her life will change and she will become famous with his blessings. As Vinayak tends to her first aid needs, Jhanak insists that he not touch her feet. Choton then expresses how Jhanak is like a mother figure to him rather than a daughter, adding that there is no shame in touching your mother’s feet and thanking her for always scolding him as a mother would. While Choton helps with the aid, Jhanak and Anirudh share eye contact as Teri Meri plays in the background.
