Kumkum Bhagya 27th August 2024 Written Update begins with Yug noticing Poorvi’s distressed expression and sensing that something serious has occurred. Diya urges Poorvi to explain. Poorvi reveals that Nethra visited and threatened to have everyone jailed for misleading her with false hopes of marriage. She also warned that she would return in the evening with divorce papers for RV and Poorvi to sign, allowing Neha to marry RV.

Yug and Diya are shocked by this revelation. Poorvi blames herself for everything, believing Nethra would never leave her boyfriend. Yug questions Nethra’s sudden change of heart, and Poorvi reveals that Nethra’s boyfriend broke up with her. Diya scolds Poorvi for proposing Nethra in the first place and calls Nethra manipulative.

Yug inquires about a backup plan, and Poorvi confirms she plans to inform RV. Yug appreciates Diya’s idea, teasing her in the process, and shares a moment of admiration. Vaishali notices Yug looking at Diya affectionately and confronts Diya, scolding her to leave. She then questions Yug about his feelings.

Meanwhile, Monisha is plotting, determined to win RV back. She manipulates Harleen, assuring her they should not give in to Nethra’s demands and promises to handle everything. Harleen, overwhelmed with emotion, expresses her concern for RV. Monisha reminisces about how she could’ve been RV’s wife if she hadn’t gone abroad. Harleen agrees, regretting what could’ve been. Monisha hints that she still hopes to become Harleen’s daughter-in-law and vows to save RV.

Harleen gets a media call and scolds the reporter for misquoting her. Monisha privately tells Deepika that after RV and Poorvi’s divorce, she’ll take control.

Elsewhere, Monisha and Khushi nearly crash into each other and erupt into a verbal clash. Khushi accuses Monisha of mistreating Poorvi. Monisha pretends innocence, but Khushi makes it clear she knows Monisha’s game. She passionately defends her sister, warning Monisha not to mess with her. Khushi asserts that Poorvi’s happiness is more important to her than anything else, including her own life. She declares she won’t allow the divorce to happen and threatens dire consequences for anyone hurting Poorvi.

Khushi storms into RV’s office, ignoring the receptionist. RV, in a meeting, asks her to leave, but Khushi refuses. She accuses him of playing with Poorvi’s emotions.
