In the first episode, Khushi calls her driver and asks him to hurry up, as they have to leave soon. Poorvi doesn’t have self respect, shame, or anything else. Poorvi behaves as if he is the only guy left in the world, so she thinks she won’t come here. Rather than marrying the wrong person, she says, it’s better to call off the engagement.
She asks Sanjay to open the door. He says sorry. She asks if anyone has called. He says no. Thank god, they would have asked her a hundred questions. She asks him to drive the car. She asks him to drive the car. Jassi arrives in his jeep with his men. Poorvi apologizes to Beena and says my sister has kept her words wrongly, but she did not say anything wrong. This causes Prachi to become emotional and remember Ranbir.
Beena declares that the rasam can now commence as all is well. Prachi then shares, “I need to bring something to your attention. You referred to my daughter as unlucky and inauspicious. That’s not acceptable. You even said she would be your daughter-in-law, so how can you use such words for her?” Bua remarks that Prachi is still fixated on that incident. Prachi insists that those words should not have been said. Manpreet adds that Poorvi has brought good luck to their family. Vishaka agrees, stating that this alliance is fortunate because of Prachi’s values; otherwise Khushi was against it. Beena admits her mistake, explaining that sometimes they do scold their children.
He apologizes to them on behalf of his wife. Ashutosh apologizes to them. Beena apologizes too. Prachi says if anyone calls her daughter inauspicious, she will not bear it. Pandit ji says it’s mahurat time for the engagement. Vishaka says let’s go. Prachi signs Poorvi. Poorvi nods her head.
Prachi and Beena give Poorvi and Ashutosh the ring. Everyone claps, as Ashutosh is about to make her wear the ring. Jassi comes there and shouts no. Ashutosh and Poorvi stop looking at him. Jassi’s men arrive. Poorvi is mine, and Jassi says don’t make this mistake even by mistake.
From the way, RV picks Yug up. Yug asks why he (Jassi) did this. RV says I threw him out of the pandal. A Facebook picture is shown. RV says it reveals the type of person he is. Yug asks where Jasbir is? The RV says the police know Jasbir’s location, and we will go there as well, since I want to see them arrested.
Ashutosh asks Jassi how dare you come here. Beena asks him to be quiet. Ashutosh asks how dare you call Poorvi yours. Jassi says his parrots will fly if he sees my strength. Poorvi then compares Jassi to muddy water and gives Prachi a choice: either clear it or stay with the dirty water. She offers her support no matter what decision Prachi makes. Jassi attempts to take Prachi away but is stopped in his tracks as Poorvi unexpectedly slaps him. Everyone is taken aback by her actions.
