When Diya prepares Poorvi for her engagement, she tells her she looks beautiful. Poorvi wears the bangles. Khushi arrives and says you look very beautiful. Poorvi says no. Diya says you look amazing. Khushi says two people can’t be wrong. She applies kajal under her ear as she says you’re 8 years younger than me, and I thought I would love you the most when you were born.
Since you won’t agree that Ashutosh is the best fit for you, I accepted him, but I cannot regard him as the best. Poorvi smiles at her and Khushi hugs her. Poorvi asks her to leave and she says she will come. Diya asks if you plan to leave through the window. Poorvi asks how I will wear this ring. Prachi looks at Ranbir’s chain and talks to him, and asks him to send love to his daughter, who is getting married today.
As Ranbir sits in his car, he contemplates the fact that today is Prachi’s engagement. He can’t help but think about how he would have attended if only she had invited him. It occurs to him that perhaps he should have taken the initiative and invited himself. As thoughts of Prachi flood his mind, he admires her for her caring nature and ability to ease others’ pain. He hopes that she will find a wonderful and loving partner who will cherish her. Sending her best wishes, Prachi expresses regret over Ranbir’s absence and wonders why he is not here with them. Her emotions overtake her as she envisions a happy family with him by their side.
Ashok invites Khushi to see Prachi, while Khushi inquires about her mother from someone nearby. As Ashutosh and his family arrive, he accidentally stumbles into Khushi. She remarks on his poor vision, but Ashutosh’s aunt rudely calls her disrespectful. The Tandon family quickly defends Khushi by claiming she was merely teasing Ashutosh. They then invite them all inside. Once they are alone, Khushi bluntly tells Ashutosh that she does not like him. In response, Ashutosh mentions his upcoming engagement to Poorvi and taunts Khushi for not having any outstanding qualities. This makes Khushi wonder how Poorvi will handle him in the future.
While Jassi is playing cards in his house, another guard arrives, telling him that he heard that Poorvi….Jassi asks him to call her Bhabhi. The guard tells him that my bhabhi is getting engaged today. Jassi tells him that she will be mine. He throws the wine bottle at them and tells them to come. They leave.
Khushi asks Poorvi what happened? She tells her she has to remove the ring. Poorvi checks her finger and finds it swollen. She cannot see her pain and says she would have told her before. She calls the jeweller and asks him to send the artisan to her house. She says the ring needs to be taken out and not cut. She asks him to come from the back door. Poorvi looks at Khushi.
Beena, Ashutosh’s mother, tells Bua ji that Ashutosh had a major accident and saved poorvi, holding her like a rose. She says the scooter needs to be repaired for a lot of money.
Upon Prachi’s arrival, she graciously serves them tea. Ashutosh questions her actions, suggesting that the waiter should have done it instead. Prachi explains that they are all like family to her. Beena then suggests that they hold a small puja for Poorvi. Just as she finishes her sentence, Vishaka enters the room. Beena informs Vishaka of their plans and mentions her belief that Poorvi is unlucky for Ashutosh. This statement sparks confusion among Divya, Manpreet, and Ashok. Bua ji interjects, agreeing with Beena and clarifying that Poorvi is considered to be a bad omen.
Poorvi requests Khushi to take a seat. Diya serves them ice cream. Curious, Khushi inquires about who eats ice cream when they are stressed. Diya reveals that Poorvi mentioned how RV attempted to remove the ring. Worried, Khushi asks if there is something going on between RV and Poorvi, and expresses her concern that he might show up and stop their wedding. Assuring her, Poorvi denies any such possibility. However, Diya warns that although Poorvi may not be aware, she could end up being in a similar situation as her. The artisan Sunil arrives and explains his plan to first apply oil, then massage the finger before using thread to remove the ring. As expected, Poorvi experiences discomfort during the process.
Khushi successfully removed the ring using a thread while distracting Poorvi to minimize any discomfort. Overjoyed, she expressed her gratitude to the artisan and assured him of sending payment. However, he declined, stating that the jeweller had requested otherwise. Khushi requested him to pass on her thanks. Poorvi was relieved and exclaimed that she now had her life back. Khushi reminded them that there were people waiting outside, and suggested leaving before they start assuming that they have eloped. Prachi was displeased with Bua ji’s remarks, considering herself a mother as well. Bua ji defended their words, claiming they were simply stating the truth and trying not to upset anyone. Ashutosh asked Bua ji to refrain from prolonging the matter any further.
According to Bua ji, Ashutosh had never been in an accident before and his scooty had remained unscathed. However, due to Poorvi, they had to spend 25000 Rs on repairs. Upon Manpreet’s inquiry about the cause of the accident, Beena explained that as Poorvi placed her hand on Ashutosh’s shoulder, they collided. Prachi suggests that perhaps only the scooty was damaged because Poorvi’s touch saved them from harm. The discussion turns into an argument until Beena reminds them that they simply want the puja to be done for their son’s well-being. Bua ji assures that they will take care of their son and conduct the puja before discussing further.
