The family members are standing behind Vaiju as she prays happily. Arhaan suggests they wish Vaiju a happy birthday, but Jaya indicates a surprise birthday celebration to make her happier. As Vaiju thinks everyone will want to know her properly, no one talks about her birthday, and she leaves. When Vaiju asks them if it’s her birthday, they tease her that they already wished her and she’s too old to celebrate a birthday. Ragini teases her, saying her hair is turning grey.
Vaiju feels upset, thinking that no one has brought a cake for her. Ranvijay notices her distress and asks Jaya why Vaiju is feeling this way. Jaya explains that they are all busy preparing for the party and that Ranvijay is responsible for keeping Vaiju occupied. As Vaiju sits crying, missing Durga, Ranvijay approaches her. He sees her singing to herself with great emotion. He then asks Vaiju to go sort out some files. She also questions if she has to work on her birthday, to which he responds affirmatively. The rest of the family works together to make all the arrangements in 15 minutes, and Vasundhara declares they’re almost done. Hearing this, Jaya suggests that Ranvijay bring Vaiju down for the celebration.
Ranvijay is having trouble with some work on his laptop. Vaiju offers to take a look and discovers an error. As he joins her to inspect the mistake, their eyes meet in a moment of connection. Curious, Ranvijay asks Vaiju how she acquired such knowledge. She explains that as a farmer, they must handle all calculations themselves. Suddenly, Jaya interrupts and calls Ranvijay outside. Thinking quickly, he keeps Vaiju occupied with work while he steps away. Later, Ranvijay is impressed by Vaiju’s financial expertise and plans to assist her in achieving success. Jaya expresses gratitude towards Ranvijay for including Vaiju as part of their family.
She sees Vaiju signs in Hindi, and Ranvijay teaches her English signs. While she struggles to write, he holds her hands and helps her. Vaiju keeps looking at him. Jaya takes Vaiju, thereby making an excuse to take him. Vaiju says she will keep the paper she practised signing on. Vaiju shows everyone her birthday surprise. Everyone wishes her. Ranvijay recalls Vaiju saying how Durga used to sing her favourite song. Vaiju feels emotional.
When there is a power outage, Vaiju asks Jaya how many surprises there are. Jaya says she didn’t plan it. Ranvijay comes with a guitar and starts singing Teri Meri Kahaani. Vaiju smiles at his performance and feels emotional at the same time. Everyone applauds him for his work. Vaiju is told not to have tears in her eyes because it will make Durga happy, too. Jaya stands upset about something. The episode ends with Vaiju smiling through her tears.
