The episode opens with Ranvijay expressing his concern for Jaya. Vasundhara interrupts, pointing out that he has been scolding Vaiju excessively. This triggers his memories of the forced marriage. Vasundhara offers her assistance and advises him to confide in her. He apologizes for his behavior and assures her he will handle it, asking her not to worry. As he rests his head on her lap, he contemplates how long he can keep up the charade before Jaya discovers the truth. Meanwhile, Vasundhara notices Vaiju and invites her over. She mentions how much Ranvijay loves Sheera and feeds some of it to Vaiju. This reminds Vaiju of Durga and brings tears to her eyes.
Vasundhara instructs Vaiju to deliver the sheera to Ranvijay. However, Vaiju hesitates, fearing his reaction. Vasundhara reassures her that he is not as hostile as she perceives him to be and urges her to resolve the tension between them, especially since they are both connected through their mutual friend, Jaya. After receiving confirmation from Vaiju, she gives the sheera to Ranvijay. Unfortunately, he becomes upset and berates her for being involved in his life. She explains that his mother sent the dessert, but he angrily shoves her aside, causing the bowl of sheera to fall. Shocked, Vaiju questions why he would do such a thing. He responds with disdain, proclaiming that he will not even accept water from her hands. She reminds him that by rejecting the food and love from his mother, he is also disrespecting them both. However, he refuses to listen to her reasoning and storms off to solace in Jaya’s company.
As Vaiju’s tears flow, she reaches out to Aaji for comfort. Putting on a brave face, she assures Aaji that everything is under control and he will eventually accept her. She dismisses Naagraj’s accusations of her daily theatrics and Sulekha’s uneasiness around her with newfound determination. Turning to the task at hand, she heads to wash the shirt while Sulekha makes a joke. Naagraj suggests using the washing machine instead, but Vaiju insists on following a traditional method as her form of repentance. Just then, Vasundhara and the others arrive, and Vaiju greets them with a smile. She takes this opportunity to pray to Surva Devta for success in her endeavor. Ever optimistic, she is confident that once the shirt dries, it will shine like new again.
I have to make Raja’s favorite food. Vasundhara asks her to make it. Vaiju says I was thinking of meeting the cow, Raja, and I must make it. Vaiju says I make it, but only Raja can eat it, mother once tried and she lost her tooth. Vasundhara laughs. She says fine, make it. Vaiju sings and makes the roti as Vasundhara and Sulekha watch. Sulekha says she can only make food for cows and bulls. Vasundhara thanks Vaiju. Ranvijay says I’m running late.
Vasundhara and Rao Sahab prompt Ranvijay to have some food. She then turns to Vaiju, asking her to fetch some poha. After glancing at the roti, Ranvijay declares, “I can’t wait too long. This roti will do.” He enjoys the roti and praises it. Curious, Vasundhara inquires, “Did you like it?” He responds confidently, “Yes.” Suddenly, Vaiju interrupts with something to say but gets cut off by Vasundhara’s hand gesture. With a proud smile, she remarks, “My son surely knows how to eat!” She then questions Ranvijay once again about the taste. He replies contently, “Really tasty! You should make this for me every time.” Surprised by his response and Vaiju’s reaction, Vasundhara asks again if he genuinely liked it.
Meanwhile, Vaiju looks at him with a smile on her face. Confused by their expressions, Ranvijay also jokes and invites everyone else to try the roti. Catching onto his sense of humor, Vaiju giggles, and he questions. Vaiju takes the shirt for Ranvijay. He refuses. Vasundhara asks him to check it once. He says okay, I’ll do that for you.
Vasundhara reminds us to gain understanding and clear our minds. Ranvijay instructs her to store the shirt in the cupboard. They then meet with the doctor, where Vaiju inquires about Jaya’s condition. The doctor reassures them that the reports are positive and explains Jaya’s progress to Vaiju, causing her concern. Ranvijay urges her to remain calm and not waste time, as he is managing everything for Jaya’s benefit. The doctor also assures them that there is improvement in Jaya’s health and advises them to keep hope for a full recovery. Ranvijay adds that once Jaya is well, he will no longer rely on Vaiju’s help.
